My Top Feel Good Chinese Dramas

It's your typical student and professor love story without all the obstacles in the way. Their love is respectful and mature. Neither side gives up on their relationship due to a minor inconvenience, and boy is that a breath of fresh air.

A gamer girl joins a professional esports team while navigating romance in the limelight. Be warned that Chengxiao's acting is not the greatest, but her stiff acting kind of worked in this drama? Well...Xu Kai made it work, and that's all we're here for. Personally, I felt the secondary couple had better chemistry.

An Ornithology prodigy disguised as a beauty influencer develops a sweet romance with a Botany professor. This story's character development was very well done, and the chemistry was sweet. The pacing also felt genuine, like normal people falling in love.

An angry publisher meets a temperamental novelist, and of course, they fall in love.  Yu Shuxin has been on a roll lately and this was another solid drama to watch.

After meeting in a video game, two gamers develop their budding romance IRL. It's fun, sweet, and a bit draggy at parts, but overall, very enjoyable to watch. It's been out for almost a decade and I still find myself rewatching it every year. 

After departing from high school, two classmates go on to become a superstar and engineer—love blossoms when the two meet again many years later. Two top actors with a decent plot. Thats a recipe for a solid drama.
