• I think the writer forgot to make it interesting...
  • For me the leads were not interesting, and I don't think that it's the actors' fault, their characters were just written that way. The only ones that I found interesting were our rich lady and the the two senior partner lawyers and their personal relationship.
  • The cases are not interesting. In legal dramas, the cases are crucial. But in the episodes I've seen all I have seen is them preparing for their assignments, and presenting their case. I am not a lawyer or a law student, but I've watched a lot of law dramas, and they have always relied on interesting cases and emotional grip of the cases and the parallel it makes on the leads and their character developments.

• I think the drama was tooooooooooooo idol drama for me.
• Ester... I liked her acting and I think its because I am still holding on to Love between Fairy and Devil days... but that is fading, and its getting annoying now. 
• For the male lead... there seem to be a disconnection on what his character is on paper, vs what he looks like visually. He is supposed to be this tough, rough, does racing in the night and underground fighting for a living guy, I would expect him to have rougher tanner look, but.... So visually he is not convincing, and in acting, it felt like he was posing every time he was acting, and it is so obvious and felt like he is trying too hard.
• And the skin smoothing, I hate it.
• I am okay with (step) sibling romances, hell, I am okay with cousin romances in period dramas, but with the (step) sibling romances, but it has to be clear that they are step siblings, or how they are related to each other and how their romance is possible without it being incest because I think there are people that are still confused in the comments.
• I know people like the like the camera language and style, but it felt like the whole drama is trying to hard to show how flashy their drama is... and that is how I feel about the whole drama, trying sooo hard. Don't get me wrong I like cinematic shots, and flashy camera language, but the intent is important and in this drama you can see it and it turns me off.
• And me dropping this drama and not feeling most idol romance dramas anymore (whether its contemporary or costume) made me wonder if I've matured and don't have the same love for them anymore. But I am still currently watching the ones I can tolerate the weak points, so I still have space in my heart for them, I think I am just having a bad burn out, and extremely picky about it.

• watched this because of All Rise, because I wondered if I found legal dramas still fun... maybe I should've watched law school (lol)

• I love the cases, the themes, and how it chooses to explore them. 
• Love the chemistry!

• I really loved the chemistry between the leads!!! I think it was one of the best in c drama land this year.
• The beginning was good, where they filmed in real locations. I loved how they put effort into finding aesthetically pleasing locations that fit the overall vibe of the drama. But the latter part of the drama involved a lot of CGI; sometimes it was just red, and it wasn't good.
• I liked how it's a fantasy, but science was also involved in explaining the real identity of the mystical creatures they are fighting.
• But did they have to do the amnesia plot line? I really hate those.

• What the hell was the whole purpose of the drama? I'm sure that they thought of ending the drama like this. It felt so unsatisfying.
• I liked the non-dramatic style of storytelling and acting, but there has to be an emotional release when there is so much restraint. The main characters were too calm.
• I think the true winners of this drama are the exes (ex-fiancé of the ml and ex bf of the fl's bff)
• Do not recommend.

• I liked it. It was fun. I wouldn't mind a season 2.
• I think the veteran actors were great. And as I said, the weakest link was the youngest. It seemed like he couldn't keep up with the chemistry of the veteran cast.

• First, the leads are so good! I felt like they are at their peak!!!!!!
• The story, chef's kiss, it didn't seem it try too hard, the problems and conflicts are believable.

• I really hated the ML being portrayed as an eligible bachelor when he owns a company and is a talented artist, but doesn't do shit. The only thing that makes him desirable is that his mama is rich...
• The FL had strong moments, but most of her was being the typical goody two-shoes. Like girl, report him for stalking!
• The supporting cast was boring.

• I was expecting a more tighter plot, since they set up the ML as a great strategist. But he seems to plan things when others act first... Like was he going to wait until the the emperor character to take over Changan from Yan Fen Shan, Because he prepared two scrolls just in case... if the emperor did not do that, is he going to lay low until then? And most of the ML strategies need some other party to act and then he can make his move...
• And it was such a stretch of logic... I will state the most obvious one. The mission impossible mask disguise... from then I just couldn't  take the drama seriously....
• And what was the character arc of the deposed emperor.... I still do not understand.... they tried to make him a crazed murderer, then he stopped killing..... if they stuck with it, then I would have respected it, it seems like they character arc is not consistant and whatever he did is to move the plot forward for the writers.
• The acting was great. Maybe its because I haven't completed any of Cheng Yi's recent dramas but I liked his acting here. The veteran actors are great. The stand out to me is the ator that played Gu Yu. He caught my eye in Serenade of Peaceful Joy and Blossom, he also stood out in the younger cast.
• I think my expectations were too high...

• I think this did it for me. I am tired of the series. And this is not because of the drama itself. I hate long series. ( I didn't even watch Taxi Driver 3).
• The first case was the most interesting.
• IDK if I want to watch the next season. They should be cranking up the development of the group relationship. Like the ML and his girl should get married or something.

• I watched this because of Seo Hyun Jin's new drama Love me coming out and I wanted to watch a drama with a similar depth.
• And second time watching this, I realized that this was just two or three people just trauma bonding with each other. 
• And I just felt that Seo Hyun Jin and Gong Yoo to be a different bracket, they are definitely A+ actors. The dialog is not normal, its not the everyday language and nuance, but the execute those lines without any difficulty and awareness. And although they carry the drama and have most of the screen time, there are two supporting roles that are important too, but they are awkward sometimes when they say those lines.
• I still would say that the explicit scenes were not needed.
• I think this is a unique drama in the lead's filmography.

• This drama is a punch is the gut. I faced my feelings for Seo Hyun Jin. Because in its core, its a family drama. This just pushed the buttons for me. I never cried so hard.
• The relationship dynamics of this family is just like mine, it's just looking at the mirror.
• I am so looking forward to the drama!!!!!

• I think I'm watching this because I need a Chinese contemporary romance drama.
• I don't think the drama is successfully telling the story between the FL and the SML well. I cannot get into the emotional stance of both the characters involved. Like guys, you were not dating; it was young college puppy love, and they didn't even date, but why are they yearning and have that much lingering feelings towards each other? Why is there so much entitlement from him and guilt from her? And they didn't show that they have that much of an emotional bond together, despite the drama showing very much of the college life story of the FL.

• The only thing I like about the FL cousin brother. The rest are......

• It's ok... I don't think that there is anything special about this...
• I wish our ML will get more serious about his pursuit in finding the truth about his identity.
• I don't think I can watch another xian xia drana ever unless its someting really special. that is why I am not watching The Unclouded Soul.

• I see familiar faces from another variety show that I watch, which is Please take care of my refrigerator.
• I hate that I can't watch it in 1 go, because the cliff hangers are so infuriating. 
• I know everyone fell in love with chef Song Jong Won (he is a darling) but I liked Choi Kang Rok since his Master Chef Korea 2 days. I think the Youtube algorithm has recommended him before Culinary Class Wars season 1 and I watch his videos every time I am emotionally unstable...
