1. Majo no Jouken
Japanese Drama - 1999, 11 episodes
That feeling when you wanna forget everything just so you can watch again with the same feeling of first time, newness. This drama broke my heart so many times with how much it made me think and rethink about love and life and everything in between but manageded to glue all the pieces together again. Just like it did with Michi and Hikaru.

2. Seisei Suruhodo, Aishiteru
Japanese Drama - 2016, 10 episodes
Someone remake this drama with only the cliché about two people who fall in love while working together and learning more about life, work, each other and themselves. I also loved how the first episodes where like small subplots of them helping others or one another overcome a situation and we'd have a moral of the story kind of end with Mia and Kiari smiling to each other. I'd even like to have the love triangle too. Miyazawa spiced things up a little and put the couple in movement. Also, make yourself a favor and listen to the couple's theme song.

3. Taiyou no Kisetsu
Japanese Drama - 2002, 11 episodes
Tatsuya is such a complex and human character that's almost impossible not to root for him at the same time you want his plans to not work so he can get back to himself. This line from the drama is perfect to describe: "he seems to have lost himself". The realest thing about the drama and his drama is that many people actually have to go throught things even when they know it's not a good choice, they have to live it for themselves even if they know they'll fail, only then can they wake up and try again for the better, through a better path.

4. Kokou no Mesu
Japanese Drama - 2019, 8 episodes
[Insert meme reference here] I've only had Toma sensei for eight episodes but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this room and then myself. What an amazing man!

5. Animals
Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
Best things first: the relationship between Umi and Nagi (the sisters) is so wholesome. And the ost is great. ❤ The show is cute, fun and easy to watch. Nothing new if you watch a lot of dramas but still felt fresh. About finding what makes you happy and finding love in between all of it. I felt it was like a mix of slice of life with romance. I enjoyed all characters and was happy all four mains developed as individuals. ♡

6. Animals: Kikoku-hen
Japanese Special - 2022, 2 episodes
I think the plot was okay and pretty cute too. I just wished to see more of the couple here but their moments together were SO sweet that it was worthy. ♡ Also, the ost is still so cute! ♡

7. Watashi ga Kemono ni Natta Yoru Season 3
Japanese Drama - 2022, 4 episodes
(Watched Honda Kyoka's episode because someone wrote a comment saying this was the special episode from the drama Animals) but since it's very short it was not a problem. Simple plot about problems that can happen between a couple and the life choices they can make when facing it. My favorite things about the episode: well acted. And they didn't show it as a good thing, it had consequences. Some we can see immediately and others will last for a long time.

8. Watashi to Otto to Otto no Kareshi
Japanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
They just want to love and to be loved but don't know the difference about love, passion, affection, friendship or any kind of love that's not romantic love.
-
9. Takara no Vidro
Japanese Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
In short: this is super adorable! Very cute story and characters. A lot of Japan's nature sceneries. Even thou they're in university it felt like a teen romance or a FIRST-love-EVER romance since both of them seem to not know much about love. It's that kind of love that heals.

10. Takara no Vidro Spin Off
Japanese Special - 2024, 1 episode
Extra super adorable episode. (I didn't care for the fangirl and think it was a waste of time that could be used to show more of Takara and Nakano but it did not spoiled the show for me in any way).
