Chinese dramas I wish I could watch again for the first time

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE TREAT. As a long time Cdrama fan it was SO FUN to watch this show.  Seeing "fictional" characters be so self aware was fun and fresh, and every actor played their part so well. The villain was so incredibly villainous that I even struggled to watch his scenes, which shows just how good that actor and the story was! Liu Yuning and Shirley's chemistry was fire, and all of the secondary characters felt like main characters. The music was good, the action was incredible and the story was so solid that I felt full  when the show ended. Just amazing. Will be rewatching!

WHAT A BANGER! This show absolutely watered my crops and kept me fed an entire month. Without going into spoilers, I fell deeply in love with this show because the story was so interesting! The end felt solid and didn't leave me asking a million questions about plot holes. There wasn't a single character I didn't like and OMG THE MUSIC! THE COSTUMES! Ugh, Bai Lu has my whole heart no matter what, but I really think this was one of her best <3 Bai Shuo and Fan Yue were a power couple and I wish I could experience it all over again.

Crazy cool concept, incredible CG and a fun and strong cast. Ding Yu Xi and Yang Chao Yue are incredible actors and I was so impressed by how easily they could slip into each new life. The plot twist was lovely and didn't feel forced. And that ENDING. I will never get over the final encounter with the baddy (no spoilers here). An absolute delight of a show. 

OH BOY. This one was so good I don't even really know what to say. I fell in love with the couple. There's a scene that I won't spoil (but involves ice) that lives rent free in my head forever. It was just so well done; the acting, the costumes, the FIGHT SCENES. I highly recommend this show. 

I'm a sucker for dark brooding character and Luo Yunxi DELIVERED.  The story was such a cool idea and even though a few plot points got lost along the way, I was on the edge of my seat waiting for every episode that came out. The fight scenes were incredible, the CG didn't take me out of scenes and (as I will say with every Bai Lu show) Bai Lu absolutely SLAYED. Another that I rewatch from time to time just to remember the pain, the love, the tragedy of it all <3

OH MY GOD <3. I swear I go back and watch a bit of this drama like every 3 months. It was that good. I think this drama was the first time I went "Oh hello CG!" I'm a sucker for enemies to lovers and this show really delivered. The twists and turns felt natural, the acting was SUPERB, and the romance was truly *chef's kiss* Not to mention, the OST has been in my top 10 most listened to songs already this year!

Dilraba the woman that you are! This was my first non BL type C Drama and is probably what gave me the brain worms for all C Drama's to come. This show was so beautifully painful and romantic in a tragic way. I had no idea how it would end and I loved every second of the lead up to it! This one has a special place in my heart for sure.

Don't come at me but Word of Honor was better for me than the Untamed. I just really loved the dynamic between the two men. Not to mention the fight scenes were just so beautiful. The actors did such a good job with this one!

Listen, you never forget your OG. This was my first Chinese drama  and it will probably stick around in my brain for the rest of my life. Amazing characters, wonderful story. The chemistry was amazing and I loved the overall lead up to the end. Wonderful!
