K-Drama Screenwriters of whom I'd like to see more work

Seo Sook Hyang
South Korean
Jealousy Incarnated seemed at first a classical romcom but it's witty and breaks a lot of the usual cliches. Second lead is unexpectadly luckier dating, women characters are interesting and complex. It's difficult to predict how the story will develop and therefore the whole drama results more appealing.

Kim Eun
South Korean
Wrote One Spring Night and Something in the rain. She manages to address social issues in her stories. The characters are very well designed and easy to identify with.

Kitagawa Eriko
Japanese
Long vacation , Tatta, One million stars fallen the stars: all these dramas have in common to magnify ordinary people and everyday life. A cook, a piano teacher, a blacksmith, she manages to get under the cover and reveal extraordinary features of these characters through relationships that help them undergo transformations out of their condition.

Park Hye Ryun

Thanks to her screenplay, the series Start Up never got boring although the subject was really not appealing to me in the beginning and even the typical love triangle got interesting as the connections between the three characters were really diverse and some what original.
I was not so impressed by the screenplay of While you were sleeping, which suffers some flaws in the story despite being on the whole a very decent and watchable series. But I was thrilled by Pinocchio from the start to the end.
Her works always tend to explain the present by some twists that occurred in the past. it's like the characters have to come clear with their past stories to be able to go forward.
