Series you won't regret watching.
Below are some Kdramas and Cdramas I completed in recent 2-3 months, which left me with deep impressions, from which I still couldn't move on. So here I am, recommending them to y'all. Hope you have a good time watching!

1. Something in the Rain
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Older female, Younger male - 1.
The only thing that attracted me to start watching this series was the couple's chemistry. It might be safe to say that the main couple here got the best chemistry. Although it starts a little slow, and you might feel a little boring, but as things happen, everything becomes so different. This one is 70% realistic and 30% fictional. From the OSTs to the Actors, from the Plot to the Visuals, this is one of the best age gap couple trope. It also showcases the difficulties women are faced with at work, and in society.

2. When the Camellia Blooms
Korean Drama - 2019, 40 episodes
Older female, Younger male - 2.
Started this accidentally, but ended up loving it. A single mother, who runs a bar in an old town, is a serial killer's target and the love interest of the crazy and good-looking police officer. That sounds interesting, doesn't it?! This series consists of the difficulties old women, especially, divorced, or single mothers have to face. How society judges them, prejudices against them, etc. This is one of the other reasons I like to watch the 'elder women, younger men' type of series is that They put a light on these social issues women have to face, day to day. Anyways, this is quite a good watch for those who love *Crime dramas mixed with romance* although the crime part here, is small.

3. Don't Disturb My Study
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
High school romance that's not just puppy love - 1.
The drama consists of, camaraderie, friendship, unity, and of course romance. I've watched many time-traveling types of series but dropped around the end because the endings didn't make sense. But, THIS ONE, leaves you to guess. A well-deserved ending that is also logical. What I enjoyed was that the main lead was not an aloof, cold, distant, nerd type of character, unlike many other high school C-dramas. While the Male lead was playful, extrovert, considerate, and somewhat childish and naive, The Female lead was calm, patient, composed, kind, and intelligent. This really took me by surprise, tho I expected more screen time of their adult life.

4. Our Secret
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
High school romance that's not just puppy love - 2.
This one is 90% romance and 10% family and friendship. What I most like in Romance Cdramas is that all the couples are more or less related to each other, like mutual friends of some sort. This series reminded me of old times when I used to watch high school/campus Cdramas all the time. A lovely sweet series with characters who have their little secrets. Their families are close, so no evil in-laws, they're neighbors and deskmates, they were even betrothed to one another in childhood. Cute, right? I know. The second couple is also childhood sweethearts, who bicker all the time. The third couple is a bold girl and a shy guy. They're all mutual friends. From high school to university and university to marriage. They all stay together, fighting for their dreams. A must-watch!

5. Sweet Teeth
Chinese Drama - 2021, 22 episodes
A sweet fluffy romance - 1.
A librarian who is a book addict, she also opened a cafe on an island with her two other besties. (She is living my dream life.) and an introverted, popular, genius dentist. The journey of getting to know each other, and falling in love, is beautiful. An ER doctor in her forties and a university student in his twenties, getting close while playing games. (Yet another 'elder female younger male' story) A popular but clingy influencer who gets dumped every 2-3 months, and a rich and unreliable guy. (I won't spoil the story for you, but there's more to their pasts.) These three are the couples here. A little slice of life and realistic but it's the sweetest drama I've ever watched. Do not miss this.

6. My Neighbour Can't Sleep
Chinese Drama - 2019, 24 episodes
A sweet fluffy romance - 2.
To be honest, I just finished watching this 2-3 hours ago. Better than I expected. The synopsis sounds dull but if you start watching it starts getting interesting and will hook you, although it may be a little boring in the starting 2-4 episodes. The Male lead is your popular, introverted, pianist, but better than those other Cdramas out there, he doesn't deny his feelings and takes responsibility. And the bright, sunny, cute, short female lead who is clingy but not cringe and naive, and she is a little smart too. I love her parents the most, they're so open-minded and lovey-dovey, not something we see every day. And most of all, the plot is something new and exciting, neighbors, who are in love. It's a pity this series is so underrated.
