  • The WONDERfools

    1. The WONDERfools

    Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

Probably one of my all time favourite shows, I only watched this a couple months ago for the first time and I'm already rewatching it. I love the characters and each of their arcs and how they each grow into the powers and realise their potential, the story line is great. It's a really heartfelt watch.

Watch this if you want to laugh and to cry and to scream at your TV cause sometimes the characters can be so human it's frustrating but in the best way possible.

  • My ID Is Gangnam Beauty

    2. My ID Is Gangnam Beauty

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

This was the first Kdrama I ever watched, and I rewatch it once a year, it holds a special place in my heart, Cha Eun-Woo has grown a lot as an actor since this show, but it feels so nostalgic to see his big break as an actor again. The storyline is amazing and just makes me love the whole thing, loving who you are is important, that's what this show taught me. You can change your appearance but the people who truly see you, will still know it's you and love you no matter what.

Watch this if you want to cry, honestly its so lethargic, but I sob every time I rewatch this, I would recommend this show time and time again. It's got a sweet romance tinted with trauma and pain but it's ending makes it all worth it.

  • Train to Busan

    3. Train to Busan

    Korean Movie - 2016

    9.0

Probably one of the best zombie movies to exist, I have nothing more to say for this, the actors and director and production team did a great job, and I love this film a lot.

Watch it if you want something a bit gory but action packed and fast.

  • Start-Up

    4. Start-Up

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

This was the first thing I watched with any of these actors, but all the main cast are amazing, I can't wait to watch more things they've been in and the storyline was very well done. I think theres something to be said in the show about who you are now and who you have been, and how you can love someone from your past and still want to move on, and also allow yourself the chance to grow, also the chance to be honest. My favourite scene from this drama is towards the end of the series, when you get to see the genuine connection and love that the main characters have for each other, I think friendship is one of the most important parts of life and these characters find that within each other.

Watch this if you want heartwarming, feet kicking moments, with the tension and the love and family and friendship all bundled together. I don't cry at most of this story, but there are parts that make me choke up a little, it's beautifully written and I gained some favourite actors from it.

Especially Kim Hae Sook, she's been an actor for sometime and I've seen her in a few things now including The Wonderfools but Start up was where I fell in love with her as an actor and how beautifully and realistic the way she does this show.
