Sweet modern Chinese dramas for (extended) pick-me-ups!

It's taken me a long time to find Chinese dramas I like-- some of those are in my top dramas or solid dramas list, but those are all more serious productions that speak to me. Sometimes, you need a sweet, solid pick-me-up. Some characters to bond with. Even if these following dramas are pretty drawn out and draggy (and may warrant a fair amount of skipping), the plot of these are not overly circular. And importantly, the actors for the main characters are so lovable in their roles and chemistry with others-- which doesnt always come across for me when watching cdramas.

I'm a sucker for a good sports story. Something about the vitality, the opportunities for straightforward, bright triumphs after grueling efforts makes me so invested-- appeals to my most core, primeval ideals haha.
Light, funny, sweet, with phenomenal performances from the actors. Fell in love with Zhou Yutong and Wu Lei after this!

The push and pull the main leads have is laden with tension throughout the drama. Despite the initial cringe I got (spoiler: first perfume scene??), the rest of the drama feels mature and realistic. It depicts the themes that worry a lot of 20-40 year olds today through the characters an d their relationship. The drama is heavily focused on these two (no surplus of side characters), which I love. Perfect for me and my small brain & slow warming up to characters. : )
Lovely, not particularly stressful, and gives all the butterflies while giving some things to think about.
