Based on a GL webtoon, Friendly Rivalry tells a story about drug dependency, perfectionism, healing your inner child and just finding a reason to live. The cinematography and visual language are phenomenal. The writing is 11/10 and concludes all storylines perfectly. Don't come with high expectations for romance because it's not the main focus, but it's very clear that the main couple would sacrifice everything for each other. 

This high school GL became my comfort show. It shows you a beautiful and genuine young love between a "loser" and a pretty girl. Though the adaption is different from the novels, this is still such a heartwarming story. It's only not getting full score because they change the pretty girl's personality and split it between side characters. I wish we had seen more of her POV. There's room for a second season though. Late night radio host has crush on pretty chick who has a sleeping disorder, therefore she can only sleep during the day and be awake during nighttime. This a cute but also emotional and realistic GL. YouTube

GL where a twin tries dating her sister's girlfriend, who is visually impared and faces her own difficult challenges. Incredible writing except for the throuple storyline.

One of the better Thai series. The writing is a bit cringy and the post-production could've been better (shots having different colorizations mainly), but as a GL enjoyer, it will still hook you in. YouTube

Historical Chinese setting where a cultivator (demon-killer) meets A Ze, a fellow cultivator with healing powers. They soon realize they are a perfect pair and their journey shows how they keep warming up to each other. YouTube

This is my favorite piece from The Legend of Yunzen. Even though the editing is cringy (basically pulling off memes every chance they get), it's cool to see the characters in the modern world. Warning: Gay panic. YouTube

A bittersweet film about a lesbian couple in high school. The main song is very touching. TW: bullying, abuse. YouTube

Movie about a college student strike on fine arts because the chairman doesn't admit creative freedom and grades students based on his mood. The protagonist is a wild spirit who meets another, except this one is broken. This movie makes you go through a rollercoaster of emotions and doesn't disappoint.

College lesbian drama (Again, dramatic as fuck). The couples are cute but don't come at a eas price, this show doesn't stray from unrequited love, drunken mistakes, cheating, and most importantly, love. The setting is a bit confusing because I'm not familiar with how Thai colleges work, but apparently being someone's senior is like a training camp to pass to the next year and you have to get your senior's signatures for some reason. Toxic GL. Very promising drama that deals with trauma, internalized homophobia and more. I think it started really well, but had some aspects that should've been dealt with more carefully. I still recommend!

Director of this series decides to make an episode of herself and resolve why her ex hated her. Great chemistry. I prefer this second installment over the first. YouTube

Great GL, but the ending/last episode is unsatisfying and a bit confusing.

Time travel GL where one risks her life to save the other multiple times. The first episode is a masterpiece on its own.

Cute girl falls in love with her dentist and draws pictures of her. When she's about to ask her out, her brother reveals that he likes the dentist too, so the cute girl backs off and tries to support him. In reality, dentist was in love with cute girl all along. The side ship and main storyline is very interesting.

Very hot ship that turns out being wholesome. A girl is trying to get over a breakup and intends to hook up with a singer at bar. Things don't precisely go as planned. YouTube

A flower (girl) falls in love with her owner who waters her and takes care of her well. The owner is murdered and the flower girl resurrects her owner in different time periods to achieve her longtime revenge for the murder. YouTube

Neighbors fall in love through one's love of cooking and the other of eating.

Girl gets inside the manwha she was reading and the ruler of the town falls in love with her. Intimate relationship. YouTube

As the title states, an assistant takes care of an actress, but the actress had a secret child from a previous relationship. YouTube

Spicy GL of a musician and a doctor who face your typical homophobe family. There's a weird storyline that made me uncomfortable, but they denied it in the last episodes but at times it seems to center around guys for no reason.

A group of girls help their friend make a documentary about women outside society's norms, including a GL couple. YouTube

Meta commercial where two actresses who act as love interests in a GL are falling for each other outside of work, but are pressured by their staff to stop seeing each other. YouTube
