Asian Drama Watches 2022

The spot is just cute. I love both actors together on screen together. They could’ve made a show outof it. 

Funny ride with intelligent and entertaining characters.  The drama felt like an easy watch thatdoesn‘t take itself too serious but still manages it to develop a thrilling story. The casting is thebest and hot as f***.  I can recommend the show and hope more people will watch this hidden gem.

Must See Show with amazing actors and a well written script. The portrayal gave me goosebumps and made me binge the entire drama in one go. It’s indeed addictive and makes you wonder about many cases and procedures. I can only recommend this masterpiece.

Started low budget level, developed in a draggy way and took a weird turn in the middle. For now I DROPPED it because I lost interest in Continue watching. 

Great casting, cheap monsters, mediocre cult. The show Manages to show the selfish and annoying behavior of people while confronted with extreme situations. Despite the less number of episodes it felt draggy and most of the characters didn’t manage to develop my interest. But the 5 seconds before ending teaser made me curious for a second season. I hope this one will be more interesting. 

Nice zombie story with school kids. This part of the show is the usual story but what made me really excited for the drama were all meta teasers and imitations of reality referring to currentsocial problems like bullying, hierarchy, military and especially sewol ferry argumentations. These parts were the magic of the show. I‘m afraid that only people who are interested in the contemporary Korean society will understand the show. Furthermore, I didn’t like the last 5 seconds teaser for a second season. Please don’t! That will only ruin the magic. 

Interesting idea that lost its vibe in the second half. I liked some ideas and the past storyline but in the present it became disappointing and draggy. 

The show was different from what I’ve expected. Instead of a romance focused plot the show is build around a hostage situation for most of the time that fells a trap for political negotiations in the upcoming election. It’s fair to say that most of the allegations against the show aren’t justified. The drama does not praise the military government or supports the arguments of the Chun Do Hwan government. But I agree that the ANSP agent is way too nice and should’ve been written more sinister.  Jung Hae In did. a great job, same for Jisoo - except that she should’ve gotten more lines and not only emotional scenes. I hoped for a stronger female character. Most characters are indeed not nice or even likeable. It was a nice watch but I liked YOUTH OF MAY a lot more. 

Sweet filler short drama with nice characters.

Hilarious! I laughed so much! 

It was a great introduction to the TREASURE  members but I cannot watch these casting shows. It’salways so tough for teens. 

That’s one of the funniest variety shows I’ve ever seen. I pray for a second season. I laughed so much. Mino and Jiwon are a dream together! 

A cute k-drama that works it’s way through all known k-drama tropes. I liked it that they openly talked and never had the most annoying show situations. Really cute! 

I liked the idea and some cases were pretty entertaining (Kang Seung Yoon, “Comfort Women”) but overall forgettable compared to other shows I’ve seen. 

In General I’m not a fan of dramas with several seasons but in this case I’d love to watch S2. The cases are inspired from real juvenile cases from recent years. I think I remembered at least half of them from the Korean news. Therefore, the show was well done and filled with interesting characters. If I should mention a negative point then it’s the fls backstory which was pretty predictable from the start. However, I enjoyed the watch and can recommend the show.

At first I wondered if the show will develop in a form of lawless lawyer 2.0, but I was so wrong. The story has some great ideas and twists. Also, the casting was perfect for me on so many levels. I couldn’t help myself but binge the whole show in nearly one ride. It was a fun watch and I can recommend it to everyone who appreciates legal shows and political corruption hunt.

Interesting idea but predictable at more then one part. It took me a while to warm up to the story and develop interest. But great casting!
