*I started it when 16 eps had aired*
*the final airing date went from the 25th to the 20th of january*

started randomly while on ep 35 of OB and ep 5 of PP (1998):
16th january 2026

put it on hold at ep 11: 21st january 2026 (I might finish it later on)

- because the rest aired when I was still on ep 11, and I've skipped through some of the rest while editing and I've seen the ending, I've started to lose interest in it.. and I miss watching OB.. idk if I even wanna finish it, this always happens.. I like a drama but then halfway through I lose interest..

started watching on netflix: 7th march 2026
dropped it during ep 20: 22nd march 2026 (I hadn't been watching it much anymore and it was getting dark and fl was "stronger" than the ml even though he's supposed to be a great general.. ok..and I also don't think it's worth it to spend all that time on it, because time is money people T_T)

thoughts before watching it:
- I just hope there won't be an imbalance in their dynamic (regarding the female lead seeming overpowered compared to the ml..)

thoughts while watching it: 
- school president and grand princess first interract in ep 11
- by monday the 16th march, I had eps 16-24 to watch, since I took time off of dramas some days at a time
- I was really interested in this drama for the first 15 eps, then I lost a bit of interest somehow..
- in regards to their romantic buildup before separating: were they really that in love with each other yet?                                                                                                                                                                                                          - why were they at war? who were they at war with?
- during the never ending winter in the village the visuals were at their best, for me at least.. 

I had it rated an 8 while watching it

I wasn't planning on watching this drama, but I started in randomly on netflix since there aren't many period dramas on there: 2nd april 2026

but I decided to drop it early on in ep 1
