shows i watched

amazing. showstopping. beautiful. PERFECTION. this show literally has everything i ever wanted: found family, supernatural elements, underdog trope, EVERYTHING!! i laughed, i cried, i felt every emotion while watching this series. the actors were all AMAZING, especially jan who brought pangpang to life so perfectly. i fear that no series will ever live up to this one. 10/10, 100%, all the stars in the world belong to peaceful property!!

this show was a wild ride but omg it was so amazing. every character was beautifully complex and the cast really felt so rich and full which i absolutely love :) most times when i watch a romance drama it can feel a little empty because the focus is only on the main couple. part of me kinda wanted it to be a bl cause skynani had so much chemistry, but honestly... i think it being a "bromance" is what allowed it to shine so much. no cliche falling on each other, no cheesy pick-up lines, no simping, no stupid jealousy arc, no denial phase, no copious amounts of pda, no spontaneous beach trip, etc. meant so much more time to truly explore every relationship in this show. the bond between friends is truly something special and i genuinely am grateful that this show was entirely focused on showing those bonds, because often times those connections are deeper than romantic ones. i have nothing else to say, i loved the show, mark did SO GOOD as chadjen, chingching was cute, every actor was amazing!!!

can't believe 24 weeks flew by so fast TT from october to april, this series has been with me throughout such a meaningful time in my life and i'm so grateful for it. every week for the past 6 months i've been excited to wake up each sunday and have this show waiting for me. i love the pairings in this series so much, especially perthsanta who absolutely stole my heart. i feel so thankful to have been a part of this journey and i'm so sad to see it go. p10L, you'll be missed. thanks for being a highlight in my life and my comfort series.<3

honestly super fun and so enjoyable to watch; i've never seen romantic comedy done so well. both pond and phuwin did amazing but pond especially KILLED it as khun thee, he was so good! production and editing was also great and it enhanced the series. iconic for sure.

BRUHHHH TS WAS SO GOOD especially for a 4 ep mini series like pacing was perfect, acting was AMAZING, surfjava for the WIN! their chemistry is the best itsg, so excited to see what they do in the future!

i’ve never seen someone like him in a show before and it’s just so refreshing to see someone that’s so clearly awkward :,) entire series was lighthearted and cute, although there were some questionable characters and i kinda wanted to yell at some people for being STUPID-

SeaKeen + SurfJava in one series, what more could I ask for?? anyways, this was a wild ride that got a little too cheesy at times (i'm a hater ik) but overall, it was a great watch. lots of angst and hurt/comfort in there with the supernatural plotline. SurfJava killed it with the acting, and SeaKeen chemistry was amazing. can't wait to see both of these couples again!!

acting was peak, loved the tension between the two and the workplace setting was fresh and fun! overall a good watch that makes you really root for the main characters :)

cute, a little dragged out but SO CUTE, truly a classic like this is a must-watch(!)

DEF a fave, i love shows with a big cast and multiple couples AND the whole lighthearted student vibe made this so fun!! all the actors did their THING and i loved that they were art students and not damn engineers again LMAO

this is the type of story you remember for a long time... even if it's not my favorite, it's undeniably unforgettable. i'm glad i gave this one a second chance, because it was beautiful. the story was very well-written and meaningful, and of course the acting was SO impressive, especially gun's. i can't even imagine how hard it must have been to play TWO characters that INTERACT with each other and have distinct personalities... seriously though this show was full of complex characters and it was a journey to watch them fight for justice. absolutely deserves a 10/10 BUT i gave it 9.5 because i just like comedic shows better SRY TT

first of all, the cast was amazing :) chemistry between both pairs was SO GOOD! secondly, dunk performed so well as style! he brought the character to life and turned style into my fav <3 finally, i'm 99% sure that this is the first series i've watched while it was airing, so it was definitely a new experience for me! it's kinda hard to review the series after watching it over a span of a couple months cause yk i can't remember whatever went down at the beginning BUT i do remember style being ICONICCC

my first bl and a good one :) geminifourth stole the show for me, fourth's acting was superb as always and gemini literally learning sign language and expressing so much emotion without saying a single word was SO damn impressive like wow. still can't believe i watched an entire show with him in it without even knowing what his voice sounded like LMAO

cute and fun, loved the actors :) Chokun i'm waiting for you!! love that they didn't make the girl an evil villain HELPPPPP-

very very unique, definitely different than anything i've watched before. the storyline was interesting and kept me hooked until the very end, which is not always the case (gmmtv when i catch you) all of the characters were well-developed and complex, giving the story more life. the relationship dynamic between the couple was sweet but not overly so, and i think the medical focus of the show as well as the whole time loop situation created a nice balance between romance and idk, an actual plot (HELPPP) i really enjoyed watching this, only downside was the pyscho doctors (like get them OUTTTT bro)

this was so touching, i CRIEDDD multiple times (but i do wish the ending was better.) no other complaints though, jimmysea did their THINGGG

sea's acting was seriously impressive, and so was jimmy's actually, also shout out mark pakin and namtan and OHM TPK my fav <3 can't wait for markohm series soon yayyy

chemistry was fire, story was cute, although the hazing had me like ??? at times like why are we lowkey bullying freshmen HELP- and then the way it was instantly forgiven cause it made them better people or whatever but ANYWAYS
putting that aside, i can see why this is a classic: it's the original university engineering bl that started them all LMAO

the production was great, and the actors were very impressive! lykn members did so well, especially nut :) would love to see them again in another series sometime. williamest has my heart (though i'm always secretly rooting for estwilliam)! ik lots of people really loved this one, but it was a little too cheesy and unrealistic for me at times lol
other than that, it was a good series :)

okay first of all, what in the melodramatic bs-
putting that aside though, here's my list of notes on this show:
pros--
- chemistry was fireee
- LOVE the supporting characters, esp aran and rose
- goated granny
- comedic elements worked well to balance out the whole gangster plot going on
- characters were complex and there were a lot of them
- fun to watch (when i wasn't fearing for the characters' lives)
cons--
- as one reviewer put it, "poor people making stupid decisions"
- i mean fr people, why??? watching this show got frustrating at times watching ppl be dumbasses
- the whole "Thanos ring thing" was so weirddd like it really made no sense LMAOOO
- girl ngl i think i could write a better story than this
overall, i think the actors saved this show, they really brought the characters to life and made them charming and funny :) production was good too, i don't usually notice cinematography but i think it was pretty good in this

very homey, sweet, although the end episodes…??? (why did they literally RUN AWAY to a beach? why TF is everyone always going to the beach in every series like- i’m sensing a pattern here)

tbh it got a little weird but i liked it??? idk it had a vibe
pondphuwin are so good together like they balance comedy and emotion SO well, i think there's something really charming about this show even if the plot goes off the rails a little LMAO

ok first off let me just say that the osts for this series are FIREEE like they are so fun and absolute BANGERSSS as for the story itself, i was really vibing with the comedy until the boss got hailed as a hero when he was literally the one who RUINED THE SHIP IN THE FIRST PLACE??? also heng and mo misunderstandings and stupidity made me facepalm. like get ur shit together PLEASE. overall, pretty good series, and shoutout to the amazing actors for bringing this comedy to life!

once the whole idol plot line took over things went down the drain SO FAST like wtfff bro and the ending was straight outta fanfic or something because that shit was SO unrealistic-
pretty decent first series for this pair though, i'll look forward to watching their upcoming show

i understand why people like it but i just think this was too depressing for me HELP- also i was screaming at the main characters in my head the whole time like STOP BEING DUMBASSES!!! the cinematography was beautiful though and it was a meaningful story, just not exactly my taste; i like more lighthearted stories

good (?) for what it is, i mean definitely not one to watch if expecting an actual coherent story line HELPPP-
but still, ohmleng were sweet and seeing ohmx2 as brothers was fun. overall, not terrible, but the major holes in the plot ruined some of the immersion for sure

started off great, got perpetually stupider as time went on... like seriously by the end i was screaming in my head at tian to stop letting all these people tell him what to do!! like wtffff and the damn time skip too... ughhh the ending KILLED MEEE i do not get the hype honestly

had serious potential and then everything WENT UP IN FLAMES in the last two episodes like WTFFFFF
still though, was fun to watch
