  • Phantom Lawyer

    1. Phantom Lawyer

    Korean Drama - 2026, 16 episodes

    7.5

This was a fun watch and really hit the spot for me when it comes to my love of supernatural dramas. It was highly amusing to see Yoo Yeon Seok play various characters and stretch his acting ability. Of course, there were occasional logic flaws that were hard to ignore, but that didn't hinder my enjoyment of this drama. The drama is episodic/semi episodic, where there is a new case every other episode. While it can be predictable at times, I don't think the individual cases were that easy to predict. The focus of this drama is more on comedy and mystery and less on romance, so do not watch solely for romance. Overall, I was thoroughly entertained.

  • Love on the Turquoise Land

    2. Love on the Turquoise Land

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 32 episodes

    6.0

It started off amazing. The first episode was fantastic and had plenty of creepy moments. The first few episodes were intriguing. Then it somehow becomes an incredibly slow paced and draggy drama. It makes it difficult to continue further. This should have been 16-20 episodes instead. Somehow I managed to push through and get to the end. Was it worth it? Probably not, but it is a treasure trove for MDL Watch Challenge prompts (including some rare ones). The action is top tier. I loved the cast and I thought the chemistry was decent. There's not much romance considering the situation they are in. It doesn't really fit in with the storyline. Rumor has it a bunch of the monster stuff got censored out. The writers also had the audacity to add an amnesia plotline for the last two episodes. Anyway, it doesn't hurt to check this drama out, but absolutely do not feel guilty about dropping it.

  • Generation to Generation

    3. Generation to Generation

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 37 episodes

    7.0

I can say I liked the plot, but I feel like they covered it superficially. It was like they were trying to cover all the plot points without going into too much depth of the characters. Sometimes they just opted to explain things with dialogue and I think that was due to time constraints. On the other hand, there were parts that I felt were draggy and a few that were repetitive. ML and FL make one of those couples that are hot one minute and then cold the next. It was like they were fighting as enemies and getting back together constantly. It got a tad bit annoying.

I liked that FL is smart and a badass. I love that ML is a cheeky little schemer. He can also be dangerously possessive too. Sometimes the inconsistency doesn't make sense. He will be a green flag and then suddenly switch to being a red flag. He is mostly a red flag btw, but he gets a pass for being cheeky and cute. I also think I've seen way too many of these dramas because I predicted who the mysterious villain was early on. Anyways, it's got a decent plot, but the storytelling and execution is a bit weak.

  • If Wishes Could Kill

    4. If Wishes Could Kill

    Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

    7.5

I genuinely liked it. I was looking for a proper horror drama and this delivered. It has jump scares, creepy moments, and lots of blood/gore. I'd say it relies more on gore than it does spooks, but that's okay. The story isn't too complicated. It is fast paced, which I appreciate (and probably why I liked it). This drama is by no means perfect. You have characters doing dumb things, which is expected. It's a quick horror drama binge watch. I was pleasantly surprised that not too many people died in this. I wish I had not seen that after credit scene. If it's removed, it would've been better in my books.

  • Hell University

    5. Hell University

    Filipino Drama - 2026, 18 episodes

    5.0

This was incredibly cringey. It involves FL and her friends stumbling upon what seems to be an abandoned university. After being invited inside, they discover they can't leave and are forced to enroll. What makes it Hell? The school basically becomes The Purge at night where students can kill each other. The acting is very cringey at times. It became more tolerable for me around episode 10 when FL stumbles upon a stray cat and adopts it. That's also when the romance takes off. It was SUPER corny, but I enjoyed it for the very amusing cringey dialogue. Actually, the plot had potential, but it wasn't executed properly. The whole drama comes off as corny. It sort of lands in so bad its good territory. Anyway, at least the ending OST was a banger.

  • Spooky in Love

    6. Spooky in Love

    Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

    7.0

I went in with super low expectations so I was pleasantly surprised that this was a decent watch. I love supernatural dramas and this hit the spot for me. It was easily bingeable. The romance is okay. I wouldn't say it's one of the best. I enjoyed the ghost stories. It was refreshing to see Park Eun Bin in a chaebol heiress role. ML did a decent job. As for the cons, I felt like the director was an unreliable narrator. They try to throw you off, but it could've been done better. I'm not sure what people were expecting from the romance, but not much can be done if main couple can't touch each other. I was okay with, but I can see how this would annoy people. I personally thought they were a cute couple.

  • Tang Dynasty Occult Mysteries

    7. Tang Dynasty Occult Mysteries

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 26 episodes

    7.0

This genre isn't really my cup of tea, so I did have to force myself to get through it at times. However, it was surprisingly decent for a low budget drama. The mysteries were interesting and had plenty of twists I didn't see coming. Or perhaps it was me that just wasn't paying attention enough? Anyway, it's a decent watch if you're looking for a historical crime drama. It has a similar vibe to Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty and even has a lot of the same cast members. I actually liked this drama better than Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty. I liked the story better too.

  • Wu

    8. Wu

    Thai Drama - 2026, 9 episodes

    6.5

Started off slow and the dark energy stuff looked really underwhelming at first. It got more interesting after episode 4. I appreciated the unique world building. It was refreshing to see. Also, gotta love the bromance. This is not a BL and I think that's why many people were upset cuz they expecting something different.

  • The Ferryman: 10th Anniversary

    9. The Ferryman: 10th Anniversary

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes

    6.0

Finally finished! Okay, this was a weird one in the sense that it is a sequel to a show I never watched before. It felt like they dropped me off in the middle of nowhere and I had to pick things up very quickly. There were a few cases that were actually very interesting and threw me off. However, I felt like most of the cases were kind of mid. Maybe I would have liked it more if I had seen the original. On the plus side, it's short.

  • The Tang Mist

    10. The Tang Mist

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 25 episodes

    6.0

This is the third Tang dynasty related murder mystery drama that I've watched in the last month and I honestly wasn't all that impressed. Some of the cases were very similar to ones from the other Tang dramas. On a positive note, there were some cool visual shots as Detective Di immerses himself into the crime scene. The direction can also be pretty aesthetic at times. Some of the cases were heartbreaking. However, overall, it did not pull me in.

  • No Tail to Tell

    11. No Tail to Tell

    Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

    5.0

It was mid to begin with. It's basically a drama that you'd have on for background noise. There was no real chemistry between the leads. The romance didn't move me either. FL was basically ordering ML around, even telling him to date her. Then suddenly, poof! They were in love. I was disappointed that there was no real romantic build up. FL was not a likable character either. I actually found the soccer stuff more interesting. This drama probably would've benefited more if it aired after the World Cup with all of the soccer hype. There were many subplots going on, but no clear direction on where this drama wanted to go. The villains didn't really have any consequences for their actions. Well they did, but it was brushed over like it wasn't really a major part of the plot. In conclusion, this drama should be renamed to No Tale to Tell because the storytelling was a joke.

  • Agent from Above

    12. Agent from Above

    Taiwanese Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

    7.0

It was interesting. I appreciate the unique world building. Maybe the actual plot was like a 6.5 overall. However, I really enjoyed the action and the fight scenes. It was very anime like. Combine that with the graphics (that had lots of fire) and you get some very kickass scenes. The music was very much my vibe. I didn't find this too scary. With only 8 episodes, it's an easy watch if you're looking for something for Spooktober.

  • The WONDERfools

    13. The WONDERfools

    Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

    8.0

This was surprisingly hilarious and stupid fun. Think X-men, but as clowns. Everything is mostly unserious. This group of superheroes is a hot mess, but somehow still manages to save the day. I enjoyed the silly comedy. It wasn't too slapsticky. They referenced quite a few things. For example, the boy who cried wolf. I was not expecting there to be some character growth when it came to these fools.

  • Archives: The Nanyang Mystery

    14. Archives: The Nanyang Mystery

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 33 episodes

    7.0

The cast? Amazing. The outfits? Fabulous. The action and adventure? Entertaining. The random bits of clown comedy in between? Hilarious. I very much enjoyed this drama. It's an Action/Adventure Sci-Fi with a nice dose of bromance. I loved the friendship between the two ML's and their mentor. There was so much agony and heartbreak toward the end because of it. I survived. I honestly haven't felt that kind of agony in awhile. The villains and monsters themselves were lowkey kind of lame. I'd give the plot a 6, but everything else was enjoyable. The drama does have its slow moments. There were some points where I knocked out. However, it's great watch party material. I would highly recommend if you like tomb raider type action/adventure stories.

  • One Piece Season 2: Into the Grand Line

    15. One Piece Season 2: Into the Grand Line

    Japanese Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

    7.5

I loved the first half. The second half not so much. I wasn't a fan of the last episode with Wapol. He was one of the lamest villains. I think I liked season 1 better, but this season is still great. I loved the dynamic of the group in the first half. Chopper is freaking adorable, but his voice needs to change when he changes form. His squeaky voice freaks me out.

  • The East Palace

    16. The East Palace

    Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

    8.0

A proper horror drama with amazing production. Loved the cinematography and music. There were only a few jump scares. CGI is a bit weak, but tolerable. It's pretty dark and bloody so be warned. Some of the shaman rituals were kind of gross to watch. Other than that, the plot was pretty great and not too predictable. I loved that they added a cute little spirit. It was like comic relief, but it was cute relief, which helped when things got too dark and serious.

  • I Am What I Am

    17. I Am What I Am

    Thai Drama - 2026, 8 episodes

    6.5

The first half was kind of meh with all of the stage drama that was going on. I could've cared less about the stuff with the costars. However, there is a part of this series that is really refreshing. ML is gay (possibly bi) so he's got his own separate love story going on. The last few episodes are very intriguing. I felt like they didn't clarify some things, but it was purposely very confusing at the end. FL is not likeable, but you learn more about her side of the story. This was probably one of Prang's best performances.

  • Strange: Junji Ito's Tales for Sleepless Nights

    18. Strange: Junji Ito's Tales for Sleepless Nights

    Japanese Drama - 2026, 11 episodes

    7.5

Horror Anthology. I appreciate the unique and refreshing tales. It's a nice break from the usual. Each episode is short. Some episodes are better than others, but I really liked it overall. This was a chill watch. Nothing too scary. I also loved the opening theme. It felt light.

  • The Found Family

    19. The Found Family

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes

    7.0

A short web series that was surprisingly a light and fun watch. It's got a found family plot. The intro reminded me of iZombie. Intro song was a banger. I was not expecting anything too serious. It's not scary. Most of the cases are of them going around and disproving that there's a ghost there (though there arguable are ghosts). It depends on which side you choose to believe. The second half explores the main characters' backstories. It was kind of interesting and a nice break.

  • The Fox Scandal in Kyungsung

    20. The Fox Scandal in Kyungsung

    Korean Drama - 2026, 50 episodes

    7.0

Not bad for a vertical. I like myself a revenge story. This one is a supernatural drama set probably in the 30s? A few things that were off. FL was badass and weak at the same time. Not sure why FL needed to sleep with ML in the beginning. It felt like a cookie cutter forced scene because most verticals start out with lead couple sleeping together. These two are part of two different fox clans, but the subtitles kept saying "Tiger clan". I was so confused. ? The lead couple was cute together. Bonus: It's only 50 episodes and did not feel draggy. The acting is decent compared to c-verticals.

  • Don't Be Too Emotional

    21. Don't Be Too Emotional

    Thai Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

    7.0

The first half was thrilling as they make ML2 (Big Jane) some mysterious scary demon. Loved all the Dracula jokes about him. Honestly, I was terrified of him due to the sudden change in his personality at times. There was definitely the power dynamic of their relationship too. I was a fan of the noncon scenes. Luckily, they didn't take it too far. ML1 (little Jane) was like a shy school girl around him. The change in his personality was jarring compared to how he acts around friends and family. The last 3rd of this drama is probably why a lot of people hated on this drama due to some annoying tropes. I personally loved it. ML2 needed to learn the consequences of his actions and he did. His past caught up with him. That being said, there were a lot of unnecessary bed scenes in those last few episodes that had nothing to do with the plot.

  • Mui Fei the Medium

    22. Mui Fei the Medium

    Thai Drama - 2026, 10 episodes

    8.0

Mui Fei is an incredibly well made revenge story with an interesting and refreshing storyline. However, it is not for the weak. Much of the content is very dark and contains a lot of triggering content that is very difficult to stomach. A lot of it was sick and disturbing. If you can handle that, then the story itself is very tragic and agonizing. That being said, it was worth it for such an captivating tale. The drama makes you analyze the female lead's life. In the beginning, she gets saved by the male lead, who has very good intentions. However, you find yourself questioning whether he actually "saved" her. It makes you think about sin. It makes you wonder if the horror and supernatural elements are actually real. Speaking of horror, the drama is filled with some genuinely creepy moments. The actress that played one of the spirit creatures did a phenomenal job being terrifying.

The writing was surprisingly good. Don't worry, it wasn't painful to watch the whole time. Once the female lead starts getting revenge, it is very satisfying. There's also a morality aspect to the drama. Should she continue to get revenge? Can justice actually prevail when society is rotten? Lots of thought provoking writing here. With only 10 episodes, it is the perfect length. The drama doesn't get into too much detail of the characters' lives, except maybe the main characters. The male lead's mom was the one thing that threw me off. Her personality around her son versus the female lead was so different and inconsistent that I almost thought it was a different person. Other than that, it was a fantastic horror watch.

  • Bloody Smart

    23. Bloody Smart

    Taiwanese Drama - 2026, 10 episodes

    6.5

The original story kept me interested. The slow suspense was frustrating at times. There was a lot going on. There were multiple plots that you had to keep track of. I would sometimes be confused over whether something was part of the main mystery or not. In the end, they explained most of it. A few things were left unanswered, such as who the mysterious fog boy was. I guess I'd have to read original source material for that. Anyways, I loved the ending theme song. Great OST.

  • A Good Yesterday

    24. A Good Yesterday

    Thai Drama - 2026, 3 episodes

    3.0

Umm, not sure what the hell I just watched. It reminded me of campy horror, except it was slow paced and had a lot of sex without plot. Also wasn't sure what the villain's problem was that made him go on a crazy killing spree. Weird way to show he was homophobic. He seemed trans himself. The slashing/blood spraying was so bad lmao. Anyways, I can see why this landed on my horror list. This one is definitely worth skipping. It had beautiful scenery though.

  • The Secret of the Lost Pearl

    25. The Secret of the Lost Pearl

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 24 episodes

    5.0

I really wish I could get into these Action/Adventure tomb raider type cdramas, but there are always characters doing way too many dumb things and it pisses me off to the point I want to rage quit. That was the case with this drama. Not to mention the main character had crazy plot armor that was 10x stronger than your average male lead. You also expect betrayal around every corner, to the point that it's not even surprising anymore. There were a lot of puzzles that the main characters had to solve to unlock contraptions. Did I care about the explanation? Not at all. There were no jump scares which was disappointing. With the exception of like 2 episodes, the main characters spent the entire time inside one tomb. The whole season is basically them inside a tomb for a day. I'm surprised people said they like this season, but that seasons 2 and 3 are way worse. I will not be continuing on.

  • The Long Snake Takes a Wife

    26. The Long Snake Takes a Wife

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 22 episodes

    7.0

It's a web series. I wasn't expecting much, but it surprisingly kept my interest. I liked it and the overall message of the drama. The intro theme song is good too.

  • Necromancer

    27. Necromancer

    Thai Drama - 2026, 10 episodes

    6.5

I appreciate the unique storyline. The plot had potential with the world building and supernatural elements. Four people/sorcerers each represented an element. It was difficult to tell who was actually good in this drama because each person had some form of evil in them or a dark past. That might be a good thing depending on how you want to look at it. I hated all the villains except the main one cuz they had no morals. An actor that I like played one of the villains here too, but I hated his character. ;( The storytelling was very confusing and kind of a mess. The ending was very underwhelming. Overall, this drama was more disgusting than it was actually spooky. It was different though. The ending OST is also good.

  • Madness Next Door

    28. Madness Next Door

    Japanese Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

  • Remnants of Gold

    29. Remnants of Gold

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 13 episodes

    7.5

I genuinely loved this drama so much. The production is excellent. I loved the direction, cinematography, music, and casting. It's always a pleasure to see Chen Kun act on screen. The action was also fantastic. There are plenty of action pact scenes throughout. FL's story is very intriguing. I was literally enamored by Xin Zhi Lei in this. She gives off so much aura. The drama's biggest flaw is that it can get super confusing. The script tries to be super vague and mysterious in order to not give too much away. It's like the characters are speaking in code sometimes. It's also difficult to discern their true intentions. As a result, you may find yourself super lost when it comes to the plot. If you can get to the end, it's definitely worth the watch.

  • Goddess Bless You from Death

    30. Goddess Bless You from Death

    Thai Drama - 2025, 13 episodes

    6.0

A genuine proper horror drama. This had so many good creepy moments. I really wanted to like this drama because of it. However, there were a few things that annoyed me right off the bat that I couldn't ignore. First, ML1 (Singh the Cop) is a bit of an asshat, especially toward ML2 (Thup the artist). Thankfully it improves later in the drama. Second, ML2 as an actor COULD NOT ACT. The bad acting bothered me to no end. Also, his character was doing the dumbest things. He was already a suspect for a murder and then you have him walking into crime scenes without protective shoe covering, touching evidence with his bare hands, walking into investigative meetings where all the detective research is everywhere, and getting "involved" with one of the lead cops on the case. There were so many things about this character that made my eye roll. There was also the secondary couple with an extremely complicated relationship. Like what do you mean they are exes but still friends with benefits?

  • Mousetrap

    31. Mousetrap

    Korean Drama - 2026, 10 episodes

    8.0

Idk, I really liked this one. It's super thrilling with the mystery and suspense. I loved the music and the direction. There's lots of symbolism. ML did a phenomenal job in his role. The plot is refreshing. It was nice having to use my brain for once. Unfortunately, the plot is also the drama's weakness. It can get overcomplicated at times. Also, some of these characters are a little extreme in their reactions (which seemed a bit too unrealistic). Other than that, it's a great binge watch.

  • 25 Years of You

    32. 25 Years of You

    Japanese Drama - 2026, 10 episodes

    7.5

This was messy, but in a good way. There was something about ML being a stalker that made me uncomfortable shipping them. I was getting really nervous the way the drama was playing out. I'm glad with how things ended up the way they did. It's a bit slow paced, so I was considering a 7, but it is definitely an interesting romance. The acting can be a bit weak for some characters.

  • The Last Oath

    33. The Last Oath

    Hong Kong Drama - 2026, 24 episodes

    6.0

Writing out my thoughts before I forget. Here are my thoughts even before I knew how much AI was involved. I liked the zombie stuff. That plot had potential. My main issue was probably with the romance. It goes from 0 to 5 then 100% really quick. It confused me. Like the poor dude probably had Stockholm syndrome or something like that. It was like they went from enemies to barely friends cuz they trauma bonded or something and then next thing you know bam, they're making out.

Oh and don't get me started on the 2nd couple cuz wtf. A romance with your zombie step sibling? wtfwtfwtf!! It was also a huge time suck. There were other ways to show the doctor's hidden intention. I also wasn't a fan of how it ended (even though it's a happy ending). I guess I am more of an optimist when it comes to zombie viruses and would have preferred on them focusing on finding a cure in the end. If you're here solely for the romance you'll still probably like it. Oh and there are a lot of people complaining about the AI music. I had the volume low anyway so I couldn't tell. XD

  • Connecting to You

    34. Connecting to You

    Taiwanese Drama - 2026, 12 episodes

    8.0

Light and stress free watch. It was cute, fluffy, and funny. I really liked it. It has a similar concept to S Line where ML can see threads above people's heads, but it's no way near as dark. This is a very PG romance, so if you are looking for something more smutty, this isn't the drama for you. I just found the romance very light and cute.

  • Abyss

    35. Abyss

    Chinese Drama - 2026, 16 episodes

    7.0

This had a very complicated plot. It was really difficult to keep track of all the names. I probably should have taken notes. It took me awhile to get into it. There is something about these Chinese crime dramas where cops use that authoritative reporting tone that puts me to sleep. At the end of the day, the story is good. I like how they explained it in the end. It can get very confusing if you aren't paying attention though so keep that in mind and lock in. This also had one of the coolest intros I've seen in a while. It was very musical like. Sometimes they'd insert that music into odd places into the drama where it didn't fit in. That was one of the few flaws.

Not terrible for a low budget GL web series. It was lowkey cute.

  • Delusion

    39. Delusion

    Thai Drama - 2026, 6 episodes

    7.0

Interesting watch. The production was actually really good. I loved the sound mixing. The music definitely made this more spooky than the story probably is. It's a little bit predictable, but I was still pleasantly surprised.

  • Nour

    40. Nour

    Thai Drama - 2026, 10 episodes

    6.0

It's my fault. I got my hopes up. It's practically a vampire drama. The acting was surprisingly good for a BL. The graphics were decent too. I let my guard down. Things took a turn in the last 3 eps. It got pretty kinky and not in a good way when it came to the secondary couple. I just find it hard to ship noncon stuff. The supernatural stuff is interesting. It would be nice if they explained how ML2 got his powers. I would have also loved some backstory about his dad. Anyways, the plot had potential. I just didn't like where the trajectory headed.
