 Based on real events of the Gwangju Uprising that happened in the city of Gwangju, South Korea, from May 18 to May 27, 1980.

Inspired by true stories from listeners who called into the Club Friday Radio show looking for relationship advice.

Based on the Incheon Elementary School Murder case (May 29, 2017) - 2 female teens plan, murders & dismember an 8 yearold girl in the Yeonsu District of Incheon.

"Before filming, the director team, with the support of the police and the anti-fraud center, collected overseas online fraud cases in the past three years. The materials including pictures, texts, audio and videos, reached 1TB hardware size. The script writing took one year and a half. Tens of thousands of cases had been analyzed and distilled."

Based on Buddhist Monk, born Chen Hui.  Born 602 AD & died 664 AD.  Traveled thru Asia on a quest to collect original Sanskrit Buddhist texts. His goal was to translate these texts in order to resolve discrepancies of earlier Chinese translations.   China to India & back to China.  His travelogue was created walking through 110 countries, 25,000 KMs, 17 years, hostile areas, uninhabitable areas & during his nation's travel abroad ban which he defied.

Onishi Jimmy whose given name is Hideaki Onishi was born mentally challenged.  Akashiya Sanma a popular comedian in the 1980's became his mentor & friend giving Jimmy the support to become a successful comedian & painter.
