My Favorite Drama of All Time
satisfy me on all fronts—whether it’s cinematography, the ost, or the actors’ performances. the writing might not be for everyone, but they resonate with me a lot, making me deeply emotional while watching. these are dramas i genuinely want to recommend

1. Mr. Sunshine
Korean Drama - 2018, 24 episodes
more than the romance, i found the brother-brother or sister-sister dynamics in this drama far more moving. i laughed, i was in awe, and i cried my heart out over each character’s story. truly the top of the top on my list, and i think it’ll be hard to replace. with its five main characters, their story follows their fight for independence.

2. Queen of Tears
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
a classic plot with an incredible classic ost, wrapped in fresh cinematography from the 2020s. the biggest draw of this drama is undoubtedly its two lead actors—their acting chemistry is top-tier. if it weren’t for them, i’m not sure i would’ve made it to the final episode

3. Stranger
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
a prosecutor who struggles to express himself, yet every emotion reaches the audience—that alone says a lot. yes, the story is engaging, the plot is well-structured, and every character feels purposeful rather than just tools for the leads. the main ost is intense and lingers in your head. but above all, cho seungwoo’s performance as hwang shimok is what made this drama truly phenomenal.

4. A Piece of Your Mind
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
a slow-paced melo romance, accompanied by an ost that heavily features classical music—its biggest highlight and core theme. the incorporation of ai, initially a controversial point, blends surprisingly well, while the heartfelt, adorable chemistry between the leads adds an emotional touch. a perfect healing drama, at the very least
