TOP FAVORITE CHINESE DRAMAS

I have been watching dramas since 2018. In all this time, I could never say I had a favorite one

But this has taken the no1 spot for me overall. Best drama ever ever ever. And that's huge for me, cuz I never had a no1.  Could never confidently say that for anything I ever watched. Loved many, but this? This sits deep in my heart. 

This used to be my fav Cdrama. I can't be critical about it. I just loved it so much. Everythinga

about it, love. No complaints. Perfect. Introduced me to both our leads and they are one of  my fav actors out there. 

Oh I remember this very well. This was my opening to historical Cdramas. This is the door. 

Note how I am not saying it's my first (The Untamed was my first). It was my second. But this

is the one that got me interested in them. I was HOOKED from start to finish here. And thats

rare for me. It takes me time to get into something. But nope, ep 1 I was done for. 

My most memorable thing here was the touch her and you die trope. I have never seen that

in Asian dramas honestly. But as a book reader, I yearn for these kind of things. And 

my man gave it to me. 

This is probably the one drama I have rewatched so many times I lost count. I used to watch it

every year. I am not someone who rewatches but this one I have, multiple times. That just 

for me, is testament as to how much I loved this. One of my first Cdramas and the nostalgia

is high for this one. And god Thassapak Hsu, I still yearn for this man. 

Slow to get into, but once you do, god the way it embeds itself in every fiber being of you. I was

high on emotions with this one. I felt everything in my bones seriously. And my emotional 

connection with a drama will decide how good it was. So it's important to me. This was

just a drama I was so so emotionally invested in. I wished both our leads only only good things

They deserved it. I dont think I can rewatch it. But oh how I would love to see Sang Yan for the

first time again.

My fist Historical drama. In the start, I was like wtf am I watching. It was just something so

new and different. I will say that watching this at the right time is highly important. If I 

watched it in like 2019 or 2020, I don't think I would have been able to finish. This is  a real

time investment and trust me when I say my investment was returned 100 fold. So good. 

I dont think there's anything I didn't like here. It was perfection. I do have one wish though. 

An uncensored version. Maybe I'd end up giving that infinity out of 10 hehe

I am in my bed, under the blankets, struggling post final exams and this is what brought me 

to life. Hence, emotional connection, all that I need. I need a RangRang too please. 

Anytime I need a warm hug in life, this is where you'll find me. 

I assumed this would have been a downgrade from S1. But nope, this was just as good and I 

was pleasantly surprised. A bit frustrating at times I will say, but that was just because I 

wanted my man to just get her u know! The other couples in the story were also soooo good.

And I cannot forget my man in a black vest. Sucked the life out of me. 

Ok, now, hear me out right. I watched this when it just came and wasn't that popular. 

And it got me out of my Cdrama slump. That's a good job right there. It was very simple, very 

heartwarming and overall a watch I cherish a lot. Sometimes it's popularity confuses me 

honestly. I love it, but I don't see the appeal to such a wide range of audience. 

Slow burn of all slow burns. I love me my romance. But, I honestly didn't even notice how this

was not heavy on it and how I wasn't waiting for the main leads to get together. Majority of

the dramas I wait for that to happen endlessly. But I didn't here because of how immersed I 

was in all the friendships and their stories. That's a big deal for me. But, in the last like 2-3 eps

I definitely started thinking about it. This is one of the very few dramas I watched where the

leads get together finally at the very end. I want to watch more of Rui Chang. 

Oh god the pain! This is not your typical Cdrama at all. And I am so so glad I got to watch this

underrated masterpiece. Shot beautifully. A beautiful story in itself with beautiful characters

This is just a beautiful drama and I dont think I can rewatch it because the way it made me ugly

cry is not something I wish to pass through again. My only issue was the timeline being mixed

weirdly. It gave me whiplash. 

I will not be hearing any bs about this. Nope, no way. This was a great watch. It was super

tropey and that is not a bad thing. We love tropey stuff done right. This is addictive, fast 

paced, stupid and just super fun to watch. Why complain? Is it the best piece of art out there?

No, definitely not. But I enjoyed it like hell so that's what matters. 

OG stuff. I feel like everyone should have rated this above a 7 at least. You just can't go wrong

with such a story. It has everything you need to have an enjoyable watch. Romance, funny

friend group, rivalry, good looking people. Its already a recipe for peak enjoyment. I love

my girl Cheng Xiao especially since I am big on Kpop. Seeing her act was such a nice 

experience. I was obsessing with Xu Kai at the time but now he's gone to the mid section. 

I wish I wish I remembered something here but I don't. There's some murder mystery which

is something new in a Cdrama specifically for me. That was already an indication I was gonna

enjoy this. And put two of my fav actors in, viola, I love it. 

I am a, Yang Yang is there and I love it typa person. You just can't not like shit he does. Always

loved him, still do and I believe I always will. I love his work overall. This is no exception. I had

my doubts about Dilraba since I was kind biased against her but after this I was like ukw sure

She's fine. This was a story that really got me thinking about stuff. I do remember it being

a bit dragged but other than that I loved it. 

CUTENESS OVERLOAD. Another drama I feel like no one can rate below a 7. That's just not

possible. This is all about good feels, cute scenes and the addition of a really small child actor

just gives you that extra something. 

One of my first Cdramas. Here's the thing. I miiiight rate it a bit lower if I watch this now.

Some questionable acting and additions here and there. But I loved it when I watched it and 

I am one to cherish my past feelings too. So yes, I do love it. Heavy on the nostalgia too. 

Not your typical university Cdrama. An amazing take on unrelentless love and how love is the 

driving force for many and how it can change your trashy life. It was painful, yes but it was so

worth it. Insane chemistry. Enemies to lovers is a very famous trope but in drama its not very

commonly done and if done, it's not done right. But here it is. I like to so so much. It was a bit

long which is fine. Just the rewatching becomes difficult bcz of it.  

Ugh give me more please. I need this typa shit moooore. I was blown away by the visuals of 

the FML. She has one hell of a face. I often found myself wondering whether she's real or not.

A great balance between plot and romance and easily digestable politics. All sits right with me

I did find it dragged at certain point and I had to take a long break at the end due to personal 

circumstances so the flow was broken. 

Just really fun and a good times. Extra points for the really good music that I still tune into at

times.
