For romances where characters communicate with different languages - whether spoken, signed, or both! As long as there's romance between both characters, it can go here! I initially asked some friends in a BL space for help, but this isn't just for BLs XD
The ones with more detailed notes/names mentioned are ones I've seen and feel confident commenting on. Other ones are from friends I asked to help with this list!

Lead couple: FL knows Korean Sign Language (AND BSL) and can speak Korean, but also writes/types to most people bc of her selective mutism. ML speaks Korean, and is now learning sign as of episode 5! <3

Taiwanese Drama - 2024, 12 episodes
Side couple: Reese speaks Mandarin and Orca speaks Thai. Both also speak English, but they often speak at each other in their own languages, as it seems they both have a decent level of listening comprehension.
They do end up speaking in each others' languages, and Reese mentions he's been learning Thai for so long yet feels like he's not proficient.
