1. Lovely Writer
Thai Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
- Plot
A cliché cohabitation of an actor and a writer of the series he was starring in, what could possibly go wrong?
- Characters and Scenes
Their dynamic and misunderstood personalities are what pulled me in. Their different environment growing up and what caused them to be who they are in the present will always be interesting. Every scene they had together was beautiful. Every kiss had a story to tell. Their wardrobe fits the characters so well, depending on the mood and situation. Every eye contact was deep. It's not a perfect series, but it was gorgeous.
- Chemistry
The chemistry was undeniable. From the moment they bumped into the audition, they already matched well. When they touch, it burns. The way they looked at each other was deep. It makes my heart skip a beat all the time. Every kiss felt meaningful, it was like there was always a story, so whenever I looked at them, their relationship was convincing. They were almost dreamy.
- Acting
I have to be honest, I was skeptical of Kao after watching UWMA, but he improved in this one. He pulled this character well. He must've studied the character so much.
This was my first time watching a full-length drama of Up, and he was the prettiest in this series. He acted very well. I choked learning how different his personality to Gene's. When he transforms into Gene, he becomes a different person. This guy is an amazing actor.
Special mention to Bruce, he played his role well. His delivery was great. I just like everything about him, especially after learning that Aoey likes Gene. Everything started to make sense, and I saw him in a different light.
This is the kind of series that I would miss from time to time. It was warm, serious, sincere, comedic, and dark, but also one of the most romantic romantic comedies I've seen. It will remain forever in my heart.

2. Love for Love's Sake
Korean Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
- Plot
A 29-year-old man was put into a virtual game with a mission to make Cha Yeo Woon happy.
- Characters and Scenes
This was one of the deepest dramas I've watched. If not depressing, it's very sad. I felt like 8 episodes with 30 minutes was not enough to make this series. There were so many elements that needed to be covered.
Yeo Woon and Myung Ha were reflections of each other. Their background story helps them gravitate to one another. To think that Yeo Woon was written as a gift to Myung Ha makes it bearable because when Myung Ha was all alone, this felt like compensation. It might be a bittersweet ending, but knowing that they will have each other was enough.
The drama did a really good job with the details. From the music, to cinematography, the tension, and the setting, especially with how they brought out the fantasy element, it looked so good.
- Acting
Taevin, as the main character, brought color to everyone. He carried his character so well. It was almost painful how he delivered his character.
Joowan, as a rookie, was perfect for the role. The dark aura and the brightness change could bring me up and down.
It was a really good novel, I wish they could cover all of it, but still, thanks to the drama, I got to know this wonderful story.
