C-Dramas with Well-written, Interesting Female Characters

Transitioning from K- or J-dramas to C-dramas can be hard. I get it if you feel fed up with weak and whiny female leads.

But there are some gems where, if you wait for a script to settle down a bit, you come to appreciate the characters and not end up seeing "soft and gentle" or "brave and impulsive" as the only two types of women that exist in this world.

How about you give these a try? I can't guarantee 'strong' female leads, but they are all well-written characters with actual personalities.
