This excels in the cast, I was really invested in all the cast members. I also felt like this was one of the only dating shows I've watched where the "game changers" actually have a chance of ending up with people. In most dating shows, I feel like the "game changers" never really do anything, they are introduced in the middle of the show and all the relationships are already formed, it's so rare for them to even have a chance with he others, sometimes they just go for each other. I'm upset that they kicked off my favorite contestant when they barley did anything. Another contested should have been kicked of because they had intent, but the show wouldn't do that since they were one of the most popular.
However, this show falls flat in basically every other way. There's no interesting games or challenges like in most dating shows. In the first few episodes, they choose amongst themselves who gets to go to the sauna but about half way through it's already chosen for them. The do the children's cafe together but I think that's the only place they go other than the regular set. I know this is meant to be more real than most dating shows and the rules are heavy because of the contestants pasts, but still, they could have had a little fun with it.
I would love to give this a better rating and review but, while I think the contestants are great, the show itself is just kind of boring. It's also meant to be a show full of ex delinquents and Yankees but I'd say at least half of the cast have pasts that don't really fit the description of the show.
It's good, and I enjoyed it all the way through, but that's it. -

This was a really cute finale for such a wholesome show. I think most of the first episode was a little unnecessary but the typhoon plot felt like one of the episodic plots from the series. I would have preferred getting a special episode about the typhoon with 8-10 extra minutes from the first episode use towards that. I would love a new season of this one day, but I know that's probably never going to happen, so I enjoyed these last 2 episodes for what they were and for finishing up the plot nicely. -
7. Single’s Inferno Season 5
Korean TV Show - 2026, 12 episodes

Thoughts
This is one of the best seasons of Single's Inferno we have had in a long time. I've been watching Single's Inferno as it was airing since the second season. I had a lot of trouble trying to remember all their names, I didn't remember them all until the game changers came, maybe the episode after that, I still struggled with Joo Young and Sung Hun for some reason. I loved the drama this season, but I honestly feel like Mina Sue didn't mean any harm, she was treating Single's Inferno like a western dating show rather than the Korean conservative dating show that it is.
Even though I said I loved the drama, I kind of feel like this season was a little empty outside of the drama. We didn't get to see to much of the men without the women. The women all felt against each other, I don't know if we had any actual friendships this season unlike almost every other season.
The male game changer was a great game changer, but I honestly feel like Mina Sue should have been the female game changer. I loved the female game changer so much, she didn't have enough screen time and I don't feel like she had the personality to be a game changer.
The drama and anticipation of this season was great, but if I had to pick a season to rewatch for comfort, I don't think it would be this one. -
8. The Light in Your Eyes
Korean Drama - 2019, 12 episodes

February 7, 2026 - February 21, 2026Romance ○ Life ○ Drama ○ Melodrama
Thoughts
This was a wild ride. I went into this expecting to cry or be sad every episode or every few episodes but it honestly wasn't THAT sad until the last half, mainly the last 3 episodes. Until I saw the meaning of the story, I was kind of sad for the lack of melodrama even though that was one of the main reasons I watched it. I didn't realize this had such a big twist, I love plot twists and I usually seek out shows that have them, I never saw this come up once when I searched for one. I expected the main theme of the show to be "live life while you're young" or "don't waist a day" but it honestly wasn't that at all, I think it touched on that in one or two episodes, but that wasn't really the main point.
As far as the plot in general goes, I love most of it but I was annoyed at some parts. I liked Hyeja's relationship with her parents and friends. I thought her dads accident was a more central part of the story so I wished it was more than half an episode of her trying to save him and that it wasn't so repetitive with that. I loved Joonha's character, but I kind of felt like something about it wasn't done well, like he never got relief, he was always so sad and upset. Episode 10 before the plot twist was also pretty annoying, I hated that it basically turned into a comedy action drama when it was something super serious. While I understand almost all of this was resolved by the plot twist in the last few episodes, I had theses gripes through the running of the show.
This was such an impactful drama and very important for people to watch to see what some people's reality is every day. -
