blacklist
list of things that are just... ehhhh.
doesn't mean i hated it. might have even enjoyed watching it, but most likely wouldn't rewatch.
these are in order, from the worst bs to slightly better ones. my comments also might contain spoilers.

1. The K2
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
this is just BAD. im yoonas acting is awful and character is useless. no chemistry between leads. ji chang wook and song yoona's character are the sole reason i completed this drama. it's a mess.

2. EXO Next Door
Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes
no comment.
-
3. Love Next Door
Thai Movie - 2013
what even was this lmao.
-
4. Hwarang
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
had potential, but ended up focusing too much on the pathetic female lead. zero chemistry between main leads. the side characters were far more interesting, which is the reason i didn't drop this.

5. All of Us Are Dead
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
Bland leads, especially On Jo, like she only did one expression during the whole drama, I only rooted for her to die. The other main characters are also uninteresting and fucking stupid. This drama doesn't make you care for the characters so you don't give a shit if they die. Also wtf was the point of the pregnant girl or the politician?
Overall, this drama has enough action to not make it completely boring so I completed it, but wouldn't really recommend if you like smart leads and a story that isn't predictable.

6. Kill Me, Heal Me
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
again, ZERO chemistry. kinda entertaining otherwise, but i feel like the male lead's mental illness was portrayed horribly. ji sung's acting was incredible though, it saved the drama.

7. My Mister
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
SO OVERRATED. I mean yeah, it was good, I guess, I liked the plot twists and the story overall, I think?
But for the love of God why did Ji An just walk away from all of that shit with no consequences? That bothers me so much. She did so much horrible stuff. We are supposed to pity her but having been through some rough shit in your life doesn't mean u can just wiretap someone and steal, plus all the other things she did. Like AT LEAST make her go to prison for like a year or something for the sake of realism

8. Tale of the Nine-Tailed
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
I don't WANT TO put this on my blacklist, but I feel like I gotta.
I did give this an 8, but mostly because I liked the side characters and the ML. Also the story was good overall, plus I like fantasy. Had some minor plotholes tho but I can overlook most of them.
But the main couple had 0 chemistry and I just wanna repeat Lee Rang's question to Lee Yeon here: "What do you see in her?"
Because thats what I also wanna ask.

9. Moon Embracing the Sun
Korean Drama - 2012, 20 episodes
This doesn't really deserve to be in this list because I do think the drama was good and worth watching.
HOWEVER. The FL (adult version) did NOT suit the role, nor did she have any resemblance with the child version of her so it was kinda unbelievable that people thought she looked like her. Also I do think the actress was slightly too old for the role as she did not look like she was 21. Her acting was also... just off. She looked like she was bored and uninterested at everything and everyone, even the king who she was supposedly in love with (and this was also like, the main point of the drama). There was just no emotion anywhere.
If the adult FL was portrayed by someone more suitable this could have been an easy 9.5. Other than this, I have absolutely zero complaints.
