My Top Must Watch Dramas

If you love wuxia dramas where the leads would do anything under the sun for each other, this is for you.
Word of Honor is a censored chinese bromance, however the sweeping and poignant story is a love for the ages. Despite the fact that the two male leads never kiss, their love is unmatched and its one of the best bl dramas I've ever seen. 

Beautiful sweeping story about magical powers and a whole other world. I should say: 

Spoiler Alert: While beautiful and a drama I would definitely recommend, it is not a happy ending. I have heard the books have one however

Luo Yunxi and Bai Lu star in this Xianxia drama about time travel, romance and just a bit of cultivation magic. 

Spoiler Alert: This drama is sweet and sweeping but god the ending is heartbreaking. So be prepared.

Who doesn't love this drama? Its immortals and falling on love with someone you never expected and a love that stands the test of time. 

Magic, romance, a prince who doesn't really want to be a prince and shapeshifting, this drama has it all! Also the guy who plays the male lead is very pretty. Not sure of his name. Luo QingQing doesn't have magic and everyone else does. When she meets Lord Jin who is one of the highest level magic users in the kingdom, shenanigans and love ensue.

If you liked The Untamed, this is a fun sequel of sorts about Wen Ning and Sizhui going on a Night Hunt together.

This is a remake of a drama from 2001 and while I have not seen the original, this one is fun and sweet. Both romances are cute however, one does get a bit less screen time than the other so it was a little less believable in my opinion. But, don't let that stop you from enjoying this fun switcheroo drama

If you're looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon, this drama is a perfect way to do it. Each episode is five minutes or less but the love story is no less genuine than a longer drama. It follows an immortal apprentice matchmaker named Qiao Chuchu sent to matchmake  the son of the demon emperor, Li Wuyou. And though she is supposed match him with someone else, they end up falling in love. 

The first of many isekai dramas I have on here, this one is also another short length drama though not quite a short episodes as Demon Emperor's Little Matchmaker. However, its still definitely able to watched in a day. Its follows a girl who is pulled into a game called the Mary Sue system and she accidentally gets involved with the villian of the game instead of the hero. 

Another short length isekai drama for the list. Though it has its flaws, this is one the best dramas I've ever seen. Not only do we have clear communication with neither of the leads ever hiding anything from each other, the chemistry is to die for. It tells the story of Ning Chuxi, a college student who gets isekaied into a book she's read and she must subvert the original plot or risk dying due to plot. In the process, she saves and falls in love with the second male lead of the book named Xiao Xingheng. And their story is one for the ages. It also has a kinda bl third couple too.

A time loop isekai where an actress becomes a princess stuck in a time loop. Her husband to be keeps being murdered the day before her wedding and so they team up to figure out who's doing it and stop them

Demons, humans and immortals this has it all. If you're a fan of Love Between Fairy and Devil, you'll love this one too. It also has elements of elements of Love You Seven Times as well. Its a beautiful and interesting enemies to lovers story. It stars Ao Ruipeng and Bai Lu and they work very well together. 

yet another isekai with a forensic student who gets involved with a system called Xiao Qi and becomes what's called a script traveller. When she gets pulled into an unknown script she must find her way out. And in the process, she falls in love with a person inside named Yan Jun Huai.

A prince who's a general and a general who hides her identity on the opposite. They are supposed to be enemies yet they are drawn together again and again. And their connection is undeniable. Li Ni and Cui Lin are a well matched couple in terms of both strength and devotion. If you want a drama where the couple are truly equals then you'll love this one

If you want a sweet BL story with not a lot of angst and fun side characters then this for you! 

Rivals who fall in love and university shennanigans, this love story is enjoyable for anyone who enjoys BL

Another Thai BL with more angst than Bad Buddy but still a beautiful love story nonetheless.

Would absolutely reccomend. 

Uni boys falling in love and beautiful music. Sarawat, one of the main characters is a musician and his actor actually sings all of the songs.

Cute sequel series to 2gether

A beautiful and sweet office romance with some magic thrown in.

Japanese highschool romance about a mixup that turns into something real

A short eleven episode japanese bl love story this one about a man learning enjoy food and falling in love in the proccess. And on the other side, a man learning to live for himself and enjoy life again dedicating himself to his brother's happiness for years.  And also a very cute child brother. 

I just recently watched this and absolutely loved it! Even though it came out a few years shy of a decade ago it definitely holds up! It follows a modern day high school girl who's only talent is running and she accidentally goes back in time to the Sengoku period of Japan using her genius younger brother's time machine. While there she meets and falls in love with the young heir of the Hagi clan who is destined to die young in battle. And so she becomes a soldier under him, determined to change his fate. And while helping him, he falls for her in return and they have such a sweet and beautiful romance. I would highly recommend.

The sweet sequel to Ashi girl. If you enjoy the show, would definitely recommend the movie!

A short but sweet Korean drama with a bodyguard and his master falling in love despite their differences in social status.

Another Isekai, sort of. Its also another short length drama. A woman who lives in the story world usually plays vicious female supporting actress however there is a bug and she becomes the heroine instead. She ends up getting involved with the villian instead of the hero. Yes, I know haha, another one with the villian as the lead. What can I say? I'm a sucker for a villian love story.

A girl accidentally summons the villian from her novel and hijinks ensue. And they fall in love in the proccess

If you want a drama that's just cute from beginning to end then this is for you. No angst lasts long and all misunderstandings are quickly cleared up with communication. It has some pretty music scenes too
