My Fav Costume Dramas of All Time

Couple of the year late 2022/early 2023.

This drama got me in trenches for costume C-Dramas, even though it's literally a K-Drama.

Couple of the year 2025.

One of the best mystery dramas out there, especially in the Xianxia genre.

The trio I didn't know I needed. Both FDB and LLH are my favorite characters.

The cast assemble is just immaculate.

Best Sageuk of all time IMO. Won multiple awards, including Baeksang Best Actor 2022 (the first time for an idol-actor, followed only by PJH).

The romance between the main leads in this one is over the top, even though there are only so many scenes among the political waltzes.

A strong contender for KOTY 2025, on par with LITC.

Xu Qi An is a brilliant, funny, and unlucky character all at once. He will be forever iconic.

The comedic moment in this one is unbeatable. I stay for the humor.

I love the body switch so much LOL, never fails to make me laugh. It's a rare trope in costume drama, especially between the FL and ML, and the delivery is right on the nail.
