Thai Ruritanias

The Ruritanian (or pocket/cardboard kingdom) genre largely fell out of favor in the Anglopsphere after the end of the Cold War (with exceptions like The Princess Diaries), but it remains incredibly popular in Thailand. This is a running list of dramas with relevant settings, ranging from the classically Ruritanian (Mani Yat Fa/The Crown Princess, The Next Prince) to fusion genres (Dok Mai Tai Mek, Phleung Nari) to ones that are Ruritanian-coded (Leuat Khattiya, Dang Duang Haruthai).
