Thai Ruritanias

The Ruritanian (or pocket/cardboard kingdom) genre largely fell out of favor in the Anglopsphere after WWII (with exceptions like The Princess Diaries), but it remains incredibly popular in Thailand. This is a running list of dramas with relevant settings, ranging from the classically Ruritanian (Mani Yat Fa/The Crown Princess, The Next Prince) to fusion genres (Dok Mai Tai Mek, Phleung Nari) to ones that are Ruritanian-coded (Leuat Khattiya, Dang Duang Haruthai).
