C-Drama

The respect and thoughtfulness in how the drama covers certain topics that are often considered taboo in some Asian cultures is one of the things I truly appreciate. Each character’s opinion didn’t come across as condescending, nor did it feel like there was any attempt at calling someone out. It’s definitely a beginner’s guide on how adults should deal with adult things in an adult manner. 

The series made me feel so many emotions, and I’m grateful I watched it at a time when I thought I might go numb with life. Those butterflies were worth it—especially when the “Up and Down” OST played. The romance was perfectly balanced and just enough. 

A well-thought-out story that sticks with you and grows on you. I’ll definitely rewatch this one.
