Yo soy Betty, la fea (English: I am Betty, the Ugly one), often referred to simply as Betty, la fea (English: Betty, the Ugly one), is a Colombian telenovela (Soap Opera). It aired from 25 October 1999 to 8 May 2001 

Its original version was aired in many countries with great success, including all of Ibero-America, with high audience levels. It enjoyed great international success by being aired in over 180 countries, dubbed into 25 languages, and having at least 28 adaptations around the world, making it the telenovela with the most adaptations.
