MOOD | Cozy and Stress-Free

One word: heartwarming. Souma and Kanoko are two absolutely adorable main characters/ dorks. Each episode contains some good old detective mysteries. The small town feels warm and lively, and the supporting cast is funny and charming. The friendships are wonderful and the hints of romance make me smile. The OST fits perfectly. I hope for a second season.

What a wholesome drama. The characters are interesting, charming and funny. Their dynamics were wonderful to watch. All the "problem property" cases were nicely done - exciting investigations with creative ideas, good conversations, the right amount of humor and many adorable dogs. Emiko and Masahiro would make a cute couple. I hope for a second season.

A very well made and self-aware age gap romance between a teacher and a student. Jin and Mikoto are very interesting, witty and charming. The dry humor and dark comedy are on point. The music is simple yet fitting. The chemistry is very good. In some scenes, Jin looks at Mikoto so warmly, so full of love and respect... I simply melted away. What I find particularly impressive is that serious topics like death and suicide are usually talked about in a more light-hearted way without ridiculing the subject. It is taken seriously without being overwhelming or stressful for me as a viewer. The actions and dialog about these topics are cleverly and artfully done. There is also a second season.

It's really warm and wholesome. A nice slice of life drama with gentle music, cozy locations, delicious looking food and very lovely characters. The plot is stress-free, there is no drama, no misunderstandings. I'm thrilled with how healthily and openly the characters communicated and respected each other. The two special episodes are also very cute. I could really watch so many more episodes. It's so relaxing.

A cozy age gap romance between a police officer and a college student. They meet daily to eat delicious Japanese meals together and slowly fall in love.

Lots of cooking and bonding over delicious Thai food, some music and some romance.
