kdramas - once in a blue moon tings
I'm not a K-drama fan, so it's not often that a drama manages to keep my attention. Usually, only two or three each year stand out to me. The dramas on this list are the ones that genuinely impressed me (personally) and kept me watching until the very end. I'm saving them here so I can easily come back to them whenever I want to rewatch them.

1. If Wishes Could Kill
Korean Drama - 2026, 8 episodes
I was drawn to how this drama combines folklore, technology, mobile applications, and school horror into a single story. Rather than relying on ghosts or cheap jump scares, it builds tension through the consequences that follow each wish. What makes it particularly effective is how relatable its premise feels, especially during adolescence, when wishes are often shaped by insecurities, ambitions, and emotions. Beneath its supernatural elements, the drama raises an interesting question: if having your wish granted comes at the cost of your sanity and well-being, is it really worth it?

2. Teach You a Lesson
Korean Drama - 2026, 10 episodes
The public outrage surrounding this drama was what initially caught my attention. After watching it, I understand why there are so much discussion surrounding it It tackles several issues that reflect the realities and shortcomings of the Korean education system. I particularly appreciated how direct the ERPB organization's mission was: to challenge and reform a flawed system, even if their methods and ambitions often seemed unrealistic.
