  • Shine (Orchestric Ver.)

    1. Shine (Orchestric Ver.)

    Thai Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

    9.0

Offense: They looked at Krailert — MY boy, my emotional support menace — and said, “Hmm… let’s give him a fate so cruel it makes death look like a beach vacation.”

My Reaction: I was out here bargaining with the universe by episode 7. I aged twelve emotional years watching his storyline unravel.

The OST: A certified bop, yes… but also my emotional trigger anthem now. I hear the first three notes and suddenly I’m reliving the trauma in HD with surround sound.

Trauma Level: I am still triggered when someone says “fates worse than death.” Still. To this day.

  • ABO Desire

    2. ABO Desire

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 16 episodes

    7.0

Offense: They dangled the second couple in front of my face like a Michelin-star dessert… then gave me one sniff and snatched the plate away.

Screen Time: Barely crumbs. Not even crumbs — CRUMB DUST. I’ve seen background plants get more development.

The Romance: Teased me. Teased ALL of us. And then?? What was that “we saw each other again” nonsense?? That’s not closure — that’s emotional tax fraud.

Did They Even Kiss?? At this point I don’t know. I can’t remember. Because I was given NOTHING to remember.

My Reaction: I flipped an imaginary table so hard my ancestors felt the vibration. The fandom was in the trenches screaming together like a support group.

Trauma Level: The writers owe me screen time, a real kiss, emotional reparations, and a full director’s cut.

  • Big

    3. Big

    Korean Drama - 2012, 16 episodes

    5.0

Offense: The Hong Sisters, my queens of crackhead brilliance, really said: “What if we wrote a script that only works if the audience checks their brain at the door and never picks it back up?”
I trusted them. I believed in them.
    And then THEY DID THIS.

    The Premise:
    18-year-old Kang Kyung Joon → body-swaps → into 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae.
So far, okay. Chaos but okay.

    The Problem:
The REAL male lead is still an 18-year-old.
The female lead falls for the teenager… trapped in Gong Yoo’s adult body.
    And the writers were like:
“Don’t worry, bestie, in the ending he just… becomes 30. Overnight. Magic. ✨ Deal with it.”
    EXCUSE ME??

    What We Lost:
We never got the real emotional question answered:
“Would you like him if he were in his actual teenage body, NOT wearing Gong Yoo like a fine tailored suit??”

    The Casting Trap:
Gong Yoo acted his soul out. The drama lives on charisma and vibes alone.
    But the script?
Ma’am… sir… writers… y’all really gave us a romance that legally belongs in a philosophical ethics class.

    My Trauma:
I finished the finale staring at the screen like:
“…so we’re just PRETENDING that boy didn’t skip 12 years like a glitching SIM??”

    The Pain:
I still love the Hong Sisters, but this one?
This one sits in the back of my mind rent-free like:
“Remember when we just accepted Big because it was Gong Yoo?”

  • Ashes of Love

    4. Ashes of Love

    Chinese Drama - 2018, 63 episodes

    9.0

Offense: They tricked me. They lured me in with fluffy romance, sparkling chemistry, and giggly sweetness… and then pulled a genre switch so violent I got emotional whiplash.

The Journey: One minute I’m giggling. Next minute I’m curled in a ball watching the main couple crumble into cosmic heartbreak.

The Male Lead: That man suffered on IMAX difficulty mode. I still feel it in my chest. I think my soul left my body during episode 60-something.

My Trauma: This drama gave me such intense angst-bonding that I physically cannot rewatch it. My fangirl heart still twitches.

The Pain: Yes it’s beautiful. Yes it’s iconic. But WHY was I dragged through emotional glass barefoot??

My Reaction: I finished the drama staring at my ceiling like a Victorian widow. We survived…
    But at what cost?

  • Dream High Season 2

    5. Dream High Season 2

    Korean Drama - 2012, 16 episodes

    6.5

Offense: Turning a beloved Season 1 blueprint into… whatever multiverse glitch Season 2 was. I STILL don’t understand how this happened. How do you take Dream High, a cute, heartfelt, chaotic-but-charming story — even with all the rookie acting — and then deliver Season 2, which felt like the writers were: “Plot? Character arcs? STORY?? Nahhhh, let’s just FILM A REALLY LONG MUSIC VIDEO.”

    My Theory:
    The writers were high.
    Not metaphorically.
    High-high.
Because that is the ONLY explanation for the plot wandering around like a lost intern.
Someone said “let’s be experimental” and the experiment FAILED.
    Spectacularly.

    The Pain:
I kept watching hoping something — ANYTHING — would click.
    Character growth? No.
    Plot progression? No.
    Consistency? Absolutely not.
    Just vibes. Only vibes.
    Bad vibes.

  • Exhibition of Fireworks

    6. Exhibition of Fireworks

    Korean Drama - 2006, 17 episodes

    6.0

Offense: They started off cute, fun, and charming… then somewhere around episode 11, the writers apparently took a detour into a parallel universe where logic, pacing, and romance all decided to quit.

    The Journey:
I was on a running train — laughing, swooning, vibing — and then suddenly: screech, derail, chaos. Nothing made sense. Episodes flew by like a fever dream, and my heart was left dangling over a cliff.

    The Romance:
And let’s talk about the COUPLE. They never kissed.
    NEVER. K-I-S-S.
What kind of cruel joke is this? Teasing the chemistry for hours, building tension, making me ship them HARD… and then no actual romantic payoff.

    My Reaction:
I was flailing. I was throwing hands at my screen. I was considering showing up at the writers’ office with sparklers and a very pointed glare.

    The Pain:
I went from giggling fangirl to full-blown traumatized viewer in the second half. This drama had potential, but the writers… betrayed me, plain and simple.

  • Fangs of Fortune

    7. Fangs of Fortune

    Chinese Drama - 2024, 34 episodes

    8.0

Offense: After all the emotional investment, the characters became like family to me. And what do the writers do? STAB ME IN THE HEART and leave me for dead.

    The Journey:
Up until the ending, this drama was a solid 10/10 in my soul. Amazing plot, engaging characters, tension, bromance — the works.

    The Ending:
And then… they chose to betray me. The finale hit like a truck of emotional bricks. My poor fangirl heart did not survive unscathed.

    The Pain:
I was screaming at the screen. I was clutching pillows. I was debating whether to cry, throw hands, or write a strongly worded letter to the writers.

    Rating After Betrayal:
Despite the trauma, the drama deserves recognition — it was still a good watch.
    Final Fangirl Score: 8/10

  • Hana Kimi Remake

    8. Hana Kimi Remake

    Japanese Drama - 2011, 11 episodes

    7.0

Offense: They had the blueprint. They had previous versions. They knew what worked.

And yet… they gave us this weak, bland remake.
It’s like they opened the recipe book for Hana Kimi, read it once, and said:
“Meh, let’s do whatever. Who needs magic anyway?”

    The Experience:
Gone is the charm. Gone is the heart.
All that remains is… Hana Kimi: Non of the Magic Edition.

    My Reaction:
I sighed. I wept quietly. I mourned for the original.
And I questioned humanity — or at least, the judgment of whoever greenlit this remake.

    The Pain:
It was… so-so. Not terrible, but a shadow of what it should have been.
My fangirl heart was mildly bruised, my nostalgia stabbed repeatedly, and my expectations shattered.

  • No Limit

    9. No Limit

    Korean Drama - 2009, 16 episodes

    4.0

    Offense: Existing.

    The Experience:
Do you understand the level of chaos a drama must reach for me to give it a 4?
    FOUR.
As in… almost failed but not quite because I’m too nice.
This show tested my patience, my faith, and my ability to resist violence against inanimate objects.

I kept watching hoping it would get better — it did not.
I finished it and immediately questioned every life choice that led me there.

    My Reaction:
    Me → bonk
Desk → “What did I do??”

    I’m mad at the drama.
    I’m mad at the writers.
But mostly… I’m mad at ME for watching the whole thing like a clown with hope in her eyes.

  • Heartstrings

    10. Heartstrings

    Korean Drama - 2011, 15 episodes

    7.0

Offense: Giving us one chance with a pairing we were all waiting for… and then squandering it with a half-baked script.

    The Experience:
Everyone and their mothers were hyped for this OTP.
Me? I had prepared all the fangirl energy I could muster — screams, squeals, tears… the whole package.

And what do the writers give me?
    Meh.
Mediocre dialogue. Lazy plot twists. Zero respect for my OTP dreams.

    My Reaction:
I wanted to write a strongly worded letter, light it on fire, and then cry into it.
I was flailing in disappointment. I was outraged. I was ready to sue… if only I could figure out which fictional court would handle fangirl crimes.

    The Pain:
One shot. ONE SHOT. And they blew it.
    I’ll never forgive them.

  • HIStory3: Make Our Days Count

    11. HIStory3: Make Our Days Count

    Taiwanese Special - 2019, 20 episodes

    7.5

Offense: Ending. That’s it. The writers’ only crime was messing with my emotions for fun.

    The Experience:
Everything was going great — I was invested, swooning, cheering for the couple…
    And then… the ending happened.

    The Pain:
Sometimes I think writers just enjoy torturing fans. There was no reason for that ending.
No foreshadowing. No payoff. Just chaos and heartbreak.

    My Reaction:
    WHY.
    WHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

  • Hyde, Jekyll, Me

    12. Hyde, Jekyll, Me

    Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes

    6.0

Offense: A brilliant concept. Amazing potential. And yet… complete flop midway.

    The Experience:
Halfway through, the story fell sideways like a clumsy toddler on roller skates.
The pacing, the plot, the tension — all ditched.

    The Victim:
Poor Hyun Bin. My heartthrob. He did his best, gave it everything… and the writers stained his brilliance.
Even the best actors sometimes get a dud — but this? This hurt.

    My Reaction:
I flailed. I yelled at my screen. I mourned for wasted potential and Hyun Bin’s dignity.

  • K-POP - The Ultimate Audition

    13. K-POP - The Ultimate Audition

    Korean Drama - 2012, 14 episodes

    6.0

Offense: Rushed storytelling and lazy plotlines in a drama with so much potential.

    The Experience:
I came in expecting a fun, well-crafted story — maybe a modern, musical twist like You’re Beautiful —
Instead, it felt like a wishful, half-baked version.

    The Pain:
Rushed plot. Weak character development. Missed opportunities for OTP magic.
I was flailing, throwing soft objects at my screen, and screaming internally:
“WHY COULDN’T YOU GIVE ME THE K-POP DRAMA I DESERVED??”

    My Reaction:
Self-blame activated: Maybe it was my fault for expecting quality from a show called K-POP: The Ultimate Audition.
But also… the writers? Guilty. 100%.

  • K.O.3an Guo

    14. K.O.3an Guo

    Taiwanese Drama - 2009, 53 episodes

    7.0

Offense: Flopping when the bar was already on the floor.

    The Experience:
KO One is silly, slapstick fun. It’s not meant to be deep or serious.
The formula: Light comedy + wacky characters + ridiculous fights.
That’s it. That’s all you needed.

And yet… K.O.3an Guo managed to stumble.
How do you trip when the bar is practically underground? I don’t get it.

    My Reaction:
I laughed, I cried, I threw my hands in the air.
    I’m baffled. Confused. Betrayed.
Did the writers forget how slapstick works? Did gravity attack the story?

  • Lie to Me

    15. Lie to Me

    Korean Drama - 2011, 16 episodes

    6.0

    Offense: Everything. All of it.

    The Experience:
I don’t even know where to start.
This drama was a mess from start to finish.
How it got the greenlight from the production company is beyond my understanding.

    The Pain:
Plot holes big enough to drive a truck through.
Characters making decisions that defy logic.
Dialogue so painful I wanted to scream into the void.

    My Reaction:
Me → “I could have written a better script with my eyes closed, while juggling snacks, in a hurricane.”

  • Love or Bread

    16. Love or Bread

    Taiwanese Drama - 2008, 12 episodes

    6.0

Offense: Taking a popular OTP and giving them a crappy script.
Truly, a criminal offense against fangirls everywhere.

    The Experience:
This OTP had chemistry that could ignite the screen, but the writers…
They handed us bland dialogue, awkward pacing, and zero respect for our hearts.

    The Pain:
Watching my OTP stumble through mediocrity.
Wishing I could smack the scriptwriter and rewrite it myself.

    My Reaction:
“How dare you ruin them like this?!”
    Fangirl justice demands retribution.

  • Love Sea

    17. Love Sea

    Thai Drama - 2024, 10 episodes

    7.5

Offense: Taking a popular OTP and giving them a mediocre, slapdash script.

    The Experience:
I had high hopes. My OTP had chemistry for days.
Instead, the writers just recycled some forgotten plot, handed it to them, and called it a day.

    The Pain:
Watching them flounder through a story that could have been ? but ended up ?.
My fangirl heart was simultaneously offended and exhausted.

    My Reaction:
“How dare you waste my OTP like this?!”
    Fangirl chaos = fully activated.

  • Lover Merman

    18. Lover Merman

    Thai Drama - 2025, 8 episodes

    6.5

Offense: Delivering a BL merman drama that flopped, crushing OTP hopes.

    The Experience:
We’ve been waiting forever for a BL merman show.
Expectations were high, hearts were ready to melt…
And the writers sank it. Hard.

    The Pain:
Not only was the story weak, but now the chances of a second BL merman show feel slim to none.
    My fangirl dreams went poof.

    My Reaction:
“Why did you betray us like this?! We trusted you!”

  • Marry Me, Mary!

    19. Marry Me, Mary!

    Korean Drama - 2010, 16 episodes

    6.0

Offense: Taking a fun, unique concept and giving us a PG-boring flop.

    The Experience:
The premise promised: fun ✨ sassy ✨ maybe a little spicy ?
Reality delivered: Mary stayed out all night… and did absolutely nothing.
The drama should have been full of energy, mischief, and fangirl chaos.
    Instead… snooze.

    The Pain:
Watching potential squandered, creativity wasted, and my excitement crushed.
All I wanted was to laugh, swoon, and fangirl uncontrollably.

    My Reaction:
I cursed the writers in multiple languages.
“How dare you ruin a fun premise like this?!”

  • Meet You at the Blossom

    20. Meet You at the Blossom

    Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

    7.5

Offense: Introducing a male lead from hell in the first recent Chinese historical BL drama.

    The Experience:
I’ve seen plenty of toxic male leads and somehow still fangirled ?
…but this guy? King of black flags.
I was genuinely worried he’d kill his love interest.
How is anyone supposed to root for this couple?
This was supposed to be our historic BL moment, and instead… horror.

    The Pain:
All the anticipation for a proper historical BL wasted on a lead that made me clutch my heart in fear.
My fangirl heart is offended. Deeply.

    My Reaction:
I screamed. I flailed. I may have temporarily cursed the writers.
“Do you even know how long I’ve waited for a historical Chinese BL?!”

  • Mendol

    21. Mendol

    Japanese Drama - 2008, 12 episodes

    6.0

Offense: Taking a wacky Japanese premise and delivering pure dumbness.

    The Experience:
Japan is known for wacky plots. I’ve accepted this.
Somehow, this drama took the cake for absurdity.

    The Pain:
I watched, I suffered, I questioned my life choices.
Brain cells wasted. Dreams slightly traumatized.

    My Reaction:
I flailed. I screamed. I contemplated launching my own rewrite.
    “Why, writers? WHY?”

  • Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo

    The Experience:
How dare these writers hurt me like this.
No warning. No mercy. Just emotional assassination.

    You betrayed me

    The Pain:
    My soul? Shattered.
    My heart? In the ICU.
    My trust? Gone. Forever.

I am still not over it.
And the writers will never feel sorry for the way they hurt me.
    BUT I REMEMBER.

    My Reaction:
I screamed. I wailed. I stared at my ceiling like I was in a music video about heartbreak and betrayal.

  • Mr. Queen

    23. Mr. Queen

    Korean Drama - 2020, 20 episodes

    9.0

Offense: Ruining an otherwise perfect drama with an ending that betrayed all my expectations.

    The Experience:
This drama was perfection… until the ending happened.
Why, writers? Why would you do this?

    The Pain:
I was fully invested in the characters, the comedy, the chaos… and then the ending hit like a ton of bricks.
My fangirl heart did a triple somersault of betrayal.

    My Reaction:
I flailed. I sobbed. I may have dramatically thrown my snacks.
“It was supposed to be him! HOW DARE YOU?”

I just wish they didn’t change it to make it more socially acceptable.

  • Peach Girl

    24. Peach Girl

    Taiwanese Drama - 2001, 13 episodes

    6.0

Offense: Taking a beloved manga and turning it into a hot mess of a drama.

    The Experience:
This drama had the perfect blueprint — a popular manga.
And somehow… the writers managed to mess it up anyway.

    The Pain:
I want to kick whoever told me to watch this, and maybe my own butt for falling for it.
Everything that could go wrong… went wrong.

    But:
The concept had so much potential, which makes the betrayal sting even more.

    My Reaction:
I dramatically questioned all my life choices.
    “Why, writers? WHY?!”

  • Pit Babe

    25. Pit Babe

    Thai Drama - 2023, 13 episodes

    7.5

Offense: Taking the first Omegaverse drama and somehow failing spectacularly at storytelling.

    The Experience:
I was so excited for an Omegaverse drama.
The concept was fresh, the hype was real… and then the writers dropped the ball.

    The Pain:
The plot barely moved, and everything that could confuse or frustrate me… did.
The only saving grace? Pavel, because honestly… he’s just too pretty to hate✨

    But:
Potential was there. So much potential. My fangirl heart still aches thinking about what could’ve been.

    My Reaction:
I flailed, groaned, and dramatically shook my fists at the screen.
    “Omegaverse dream… crushed! WHY?!”

  • Shut Up: Flower Boy Band

    26. Shut Up: Flower Boy Band

    Korean Drama - 2012, 16 episodes

    10

Offense: Making me fall madly in love with Ju Byeong Hui… and then breaking my heart.

    The Experience:
This drama earned a 10 in my book — the music, the vibes, the angst, everything.
But the writers… how dare they.

    The Pain:
Ju Byeong Hui felt like my fictional soulmate, my perfect dramaland dream.
And then… they Hurt ME through him. Criminal offense, writers!

    But:
The drama is still amazing. The soundtrack slaps, the characters shine, the heartache is just… unfair.

    My Reaction:
    I wept. I screamed. I flailed dramatically.
“WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO MY FICTIONAL SOULMATE?!”

  • Sword and Beloved

    27. Sword and Beloved

    Chinese Drama - 2025, 36 episodes

    7.0

Offense: Giving my favorite actor, Cheng Yi, another dud of a script.

    The Experience:
Cheng Yi is talented, charming, and literally can act circles around most of these scripts.
Yet somehow… the writers keep handing him garbage plots.

    The Pain:
Watching my boi struggle to turn a bad script into gold is heartbreaking.
He deserves better. We all deserve better.

    But:
His acting still shines through the mess. Bless him. ✨

    My Reaction:
I flailed. I shouted at the screen.
“STOP HURTING MY FAV, WRITERS!! HE IS NOT A MIRACLE WORKER!”

  • The Boy Next World: Uncut

    28. The Boy Next World: Uncut

    Thai Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    8.5

Offense: Almost delivering a perfect parallel universe plot, then throwing it away.

    The Experience:
The premise was amazing — I was ready to give a 10.
But the writers decided to switch to a normal plot, ignoring all that parallel universe potential.

    The Pain:
I was this close to fangirling at perfection. Instead…
Still enjoyed it, but the ending left me side-eyed, dramatically disappointed.

    But:
The actors and vibes were cute, so I didn’t completely hate it. ?

    My Reaction:
    I flailed. I sighed. I dramatically lamented:
“YOU HAD ONE JOB, WRITERS! ONE JOB!”

    7.5

Offense: Failing at the concept of a good vampire BL drama.

    The Experience:
The premise had so much potential — I was ready to fangirl hard.
But somehow… the writers just couldn’t deliver. ?

    The Pain:
It was okay, but it could have been so much more.

    But:
I appreciated the effort, and the actors tried. But still… the execution hurt my soul

    My Reaction:
I groaned. I dramatically shook my head.
“IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR A DECENT VAMPIRE BL?!” BL version of Vampire Diaries would be so good. SIGH

  • The Heirs

    30. The Heirs

    Korean Drama - 2013, 20 episodes

    7.0

Offense: Taking a stellar cast and giving them mediocre script.

    The Experience:
The premise promised drama, romance, and angst, and the cast could have delivered magic. ✨
    But somehow… the scriptwriters fumbled.

    The Pain:
Instead of turning gold, the story landed in “meh” territory.
The actors tried, bless them, but the plot wasted their talent

    My Reaction:
I literally want to shake the writers.
“How do you take such a good cast and give them this?!”

  • Time Slip Dr. Jin

    31. Time Slip Dr. Jin

    Korean Drama - 2012, 22 episodes

    4.0

Offense: Taking a successful Japanese drama blueprint and flopping on the adaptation.

    The Experience:
The original had drama, emotion, and pacing down perfectly. ✨
The Korean adaptation? Somehow flat, messy, and dumpster-fire worthy

    The Pain:
Characters had potential, plot had promise… but the scriptwriters somehow broke it all

    My Reaction:
I want to shake them and scream, “How do you ruin perfection?!”

  • Warrior Baek Dong Soo

    32. Warrior Baek Dong Soo

    Korean Drama - 2011, 29 episodes

    9.0

Offense: Ruining an entire drama in the last five minutes.

    The Pain:
I will NEVER forgive this scriptwriter. Not now. Not later.
Not even at their funeral — they can go ask God for forgiveness because they’re never getting it from me.

    Reason:
How dare you build emotions, loyalty, brotherhood, and pain for dozens of episodes…
Only to stab me in the soul right at the finish line.
The last 5 minutes??? THE LAST FIVE MINUTES???

    My Reaction:
If I ever run into this writer, I will have WORDS. Capital W.
Because this drama emotionally body‑slammed me and then walked away like nothing happened.

  • What the Duck

    33. What the Duck

    Thai Drama - 2018, 20 episodes

    5.0

    Offense: Full-on dumpster fire.

    The Pain:
I can’t even. Like… what the heck is more like it.
I have seen crappy dramas, but this one… criminal offense against my eyeballs and my fangirl heart.

    Reason:
Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Plot? Mess. Characters? Flat. Chemistry? Nonexistent.
It’s like the writers went “let’s see how much we can ruin people’s evening” and succeeded.

    My Reaction:
If I see the writers, I’m quacking loud, throwing my slipper at them, and demanding an apology.
This drama is a crime scene of storytelling.
