GMMTV 2026 - Most to Least Anticipated Series (BL Only)

If you would've told me my number one most anticipated series was going to be a SeaKeen series, I would've laughed at you. but, this, THIS I'm HYPED about. It was the only series that gave me butterflies and had me smile from beginning to end. But, the part I'm most impressed with? Sea's acting. This role was MADE for him. The awkward glances, his mannerisms, posture, dialogue, URGH. We have yet to have a BL series that has actually portrayed a neurodivergent character (said, not implied) and I really hope this series delves into this with Sea's character. I need awkward hand holding, awkward first date, awkward first kiss, all the awkwards please. I can't wait until Keen goes from "I'll protect you" to complete mush as soon as they get together, URGH I CAN'T WAIT.

Oh. OH. So, so ready for this. There's no way this wasn't going to be either first or second on my list. It has a low anticipated overall rating bc New really scares me. Please PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THIS CHEESY, I WILL KMS. The topic of HIV/AIDS is a sensitive one, and I think these two were PERFECT for the role. Gave me all the coming-of-age vibes that I very much so needed. I really hope we actually get see an accurate portrayal of someone with HIV, and I severely hope they delve into the topic of wanting to have/having sex and the importance of safe sex bc of it. This can be a MASTERPIECE if handled with delicate, fragile care. If not, this will flop and flop HARD. Also like that Aston's character is assigned to Chokun to help him with whatever secretive trauma he has going on. No PapangPodd main leads, but they're already giving me the tension I wanted, so BRING IT ALL TO ME PLEASSEEE. Leaving my anticipation slightly low bc I don't want to be overall disappointed, but I PRAY this is 10/10.

Choked up a little watching this. I'm not sure why this hit me so hard in the feels, but I'm very much so looking forward to this. Amnesia seems to be a running trope this lineup, but I liked it most in this. I also think bc KristSingto have so much history, it'll make for a good childhood friend to lovers story. Please bring me all the feels, I BEG! The director wrote and directed Boys In Love, so I do have faith!

Initially, I wasn't obsessed with this, but now I AM. These two probably had the best chemistry out of any of the new pairings we saw. The story is FUN, like he's going to have bad luck, I'm IN. A sucker for high school BLs, and it's showing so bad, omg. The director has done lots of screenwriting work for series that I decently like, so I'm anticipating a good story.

This might be a high overall anticipation rating, but this looks GOOD. We also have a stellar cast, so I have faith (kinda). Great gets to kiss someone new, yippee! Also, MOND. Looks like some 80s gangster movie with the hair and wardrobe, but I'm excited.

The best, most fleshed out teaser we got, so it's easily a favorite. I really liked them in Perfect10Liners, so I'm eager to see what they give us in this. Nut and Hong pairing I think? This is also a great time to announce that I did not listen to the actors talk after their teasers played, so if any of them have said differently, then I wouldn't know. The director has been an AD for plenty of series that I liked, so I have faith. also Great looks GREAT, but that's nothing new.

During my first look, I wasn't all that thrilled, but rewatching the teaser made me a bit more excited. Mostly because BARCODE. BARCODE, BARCODE, BARCODE. I love him so much. I'm not obsessed with their chemistry at the moment, but in Barcode we trust. KenPaul, Yay!! They are seriously the cutest, I need a real (REAL) love story between them, thank you.

EarthMix, so of course it's in my top 10. They're back doing comedy! I think they nailed it in Ossan's Love, so I'm excited to see it here too. Also just a really fun concept, and I'm almost positive we'll get some type of forced proximity. OhmPoon's kiss solidified enough that they'll be adorable. Pun had me laughing, I love his facial expressions. Weirdly excited for this one, I don't know the director though, so my excitement meter is like 50/50.

The first JoongDunk teaser I've seen and liked. So far, I've dropped (besides Star In My Mind) every single thing JoongDunk have been in. I really hope this won't be on there too, but I really do enjoy plots like this that are about a rich guy needing love and finding it in the most inconvenient way/person (Me and Thee) .

ALL FAITH IN NINEW'S HANDS. I loved most of his work so far, so I hope he delivers again, the reason this series is pretty far up the list. WinnySatang really surprised me in That Summer when I originally had no prior adoration for their work. I liked the plot, I think it could slightly give off the same vibes as TS, but again, my faith is in Ninew's hands.

Mick and Luke really surprised me in Boys In Love and they ended up being my favorite pairing. I have faith that they'll be able to deliver again. We now have the mystery/time-travel element, so I think it'll be fun.

I liked this so so so much during my first watch. New is the director, which scares me, but not too much just yet. I hope this stays the cute indie, coming-of-age high school BL that it gives off. I'm scared we'll get repetitive sound effects and 100-max beauty filter instead (crossing my fingers and toes that it's not). This has the potential to be like My School President and surprise us all. Their ages are a little scary, so hopefully this stays low/no heat, which I'm sure it will. I'm a sucker for first love BLs. This is probably going to give me all the feels.  

Okay, fun! That's kind of all the thoughts I have. I am iffy with Jojo's work, some of it I absolutely adore and others I've dropped before the 5th episode. Hope that I will adore this. But also JimmySea will always give me everything I need, so I'm not too worried. Could end up being a sad ending (in a good way) if GMMTV doesn't decide to Disney-fy this.

Underwhelming. I don't know what I was hoping for, but this feels like something I was expecting, and I didn't want to expect anything for this pairing. Not obsessed with how much physicalness they're showing already, like that's what months of anticipation is for, what are we doing GMMTV? Either way, I trust that they'll turn this into a decent story + BARCODE.

Reheated Perfect10Liners/We Are nachos. Not (too) mad about it though. I'm not too familiar with MarkOhm, but I like Mark as an actor. SurfJava have won my heart in Head 2 Head. Did not like SaveFrance in My Magic Prophecy, but they already looked like they had better chemistry in this. Looks fun, I'm also a sucker for forced proximity. These are always fun if done right, but I have no faith that I'll give this anything over a 7/10.

Not impressed. Aou and Boom can do dark and moody so well (as seen in Perfect10Liners) so I won't lie, I was hoping for something grittier (Aou will act as a sugar daddy, so ig that'll do for now). Kinda wish they'd switched roles, although, this will show me their range as actors. Comedy is easy for them which is why this isn't lower on my list.

Not so terrible, also the first BounPrem project that I didn't watch and just immediately say "no❤️".  Hope Waa (Boys in Love, Be My Favorite Director) gets to direct this, then I'll have more faith.

Lots of ghosts storyline, this is the least interesting. But I just love Santa in any damsel-in-distress role (all of his roles with GMMTV as of now, lol) so I can't lie that I'm excited to see him need saving from Perth (and vice versa). MOND. He's back with Ryu, which isn't all that exciting since I wasn't crazy about them in That Summer, but I get to see my husband, so there's nothing really to be that upset over.

Reheated Bad Buddy nachos + Tennis. Only reason this is not last is because I have full faith (which mean less than zero) that we might be getting old man yaoi (Chai and Amarin) from the competing dads. Overall, not really that impressed. This has the ability to be a breakthrough series (like Bad Buddy) but I'm not so sure yet. Also just felt no chemistry between the leads, but Chimon gets a new pairing, so let's see, shall we?

Ehhhhh... I don't know. Not really my cup of tea, but I think I said the same thing for Not Me, so we shall see. This also felt pretty rushed and not completely fleshed out, so I think (?) I might like it better once it's filmed and we get an official trailer. But it's OffGun, so I'm giving them way more than the benefit of the doubt. Would've probably been last on my list, but seeing Fluke made me bumped this up a bit (yes, I'm that shallow).

I'm not going to even pretend like I knew anything that was happening in this. This is only as low as it is cause I have zero clue what this truly is about. Like, is there a deeper meaning to this story than just dragon dancing, or is that really the obstacle? Looks like it'll be beautiful, plus, I'm always excited to learn something new about Thai culture. It just simply was not something I was anticipating for this pair, but bc it's FirstKhaotung, I know it'll end up being good, so I'm not too worried.
