bl dramas
these are all the bl dramas i've watched and thought were good. hope this helps ^~^
(will be adding more as i watch; i'm open for recommendations too!)

1. HIStory3: Trapped
Taiwanese Drama - 2019, 20 episodes
this was the first bl drama i watched (i actually found it accidentally). before this, i didn't know bl dramas were a thing, so i was curious and had expectations. this certainly lived up to them. the storyline is good, and the actors were great. i realized after watching more dramas that i don't usually like watching straight ships, but i really loved the straight ship in this one. their story is just as passionate as the main ships.
i loved the bl ships, of course, but i kinda liked the side ship (jack and zhao zi) a little more than the main one.

2. HIStory2: Crossing the Line
Taiwanese Special - 2018, 8 episodes
the story is really cute. i'm not sure what i feel about the brothers case, but you should still watch if you're looking for something light-hearted.
-
3. HIStory2: Right or Wrong
Taiwanese Special - 2018, 8 episodes
hands-down one of the best bl dramas i've watched. it tackles issues like age gap and gay bullying, while keeping a steady and progressive storyline. 11/10 would watch again ^~^
-
4. HIStory: Stay Away from Me
Taiwanese Drama - 2017, 4 episodes
it has the usual enemies-to-lovers story. again, i'm not sure what to feel about them being step brothers (since i'm not used to that kind of plot), but it was pretty good overall. i'm kind of sad that it's just 4 episodes because i feel like they could have made the story better if there were more.

5. Love by Chance
Thai Drama - 2018, 14 episodes
i was really hooked into it while watching. perth and saint (ae and pete in the series) have great chemistry, and i love their story so much. i could say the same for mean and plan (tin and can). again, i'm not sure what to feel about tum and tar since they're brothers, but they were still cute!
there are just some things i don't agree with, like what kengkla did to techno in the last episode, but aside from that, i think everything else was good.

6. SOTUS
Thai Drama - 2016, 15 episodes
this is another bl drama that i think is one of the best out there. the show is not only sweet, but it's also realistic on its approach towards the gay community. arthit is one of my favorite characters ever; please don't complain about his lack of skinship because his personality is to be cautious (focus more on the little things he does for kongpob!) the side stories are nice, too. i'm just disappointed that wad pretty much disappeared mid-series, since i'd like to see more of him.
singto and krist (the real actors) and the rest of the cast are also super cute irl. i recommend watching them on some variety shows.

7. SOTUS S
Thai Drama - 2017, 13 episodes
this season was just as good as the first one, if not better. it was moving to see how arthit and kongpob went through their lives as a couple, and how they can be comfortable and finally accept who they are. the addition of more characters and ships felt just right -- there weren't too little nor too much, so you can balance watching all of them well.
i loved last season's cast, but i love this one even more. this whole series was perfect for me.

8. Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey
Thai Drama - 2016, 6 episodes
the show is adorable. i watched it for the bl plot, but the straight ship is cute, too. i think that this season focused more on the straight ship rather than the bl one, though.
-
9. Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey 2
Thai Drama - 2017, 8 episodes
there are much more scenes for the bl ship in this season than in the last. i love pick and rome, and i love off and gun (their real actors) even more. it was pretty weird to see krist (arthit from sotus) act with the female lead, since i watched this after sotus, but it's still cute nonetheless.

10. Together with Me
Thai Drama - 2017, 13 episodes
the story for this one is good. i was taken aback by the first scene of the first episode because i didn't expect such a scene 10 seconds into the show. i must say that firstly, knock's character really stressed me out in the latter episodes. secondly, yihwa and fai are the best girl characters in any bl dramas i've watched. and lastly, bright and farm seemed cute at first but i'm sad at how farm became in the end.
this show was a rollercoaster ride. however, i enjoyed it a lot :)

11. 2 Moons
Thai Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
2moons is another drama that i think is really good. the casting and whole production of the series was great. i'm disappointed that there were less scenes for the other ships, but i know they're going to be focused more in the next season, anyway. i'm looking forward to season 2!
-
12. My Baby Bright: Best Friends Forever
Thai Special - 2018, 1 episode
this is a short movie/ad featuring singto and krist (arthit and kongpob from sotus). it was nice to watch them act together again, especially since they're one of my favorite couples. the movie was good, and it was able to show a variety of emotions in just ~17 mins.
-
13. My Dear Loser: Edge of 17
Thai Drama - 2017, 9 episodes
i watched only in and sun's cuts (gmmtv has separate videos for those). their storyline was cute; it felt innocent and fresh. i hope they get their own separate series in the future because i want to see more of them together :) i'm satisfied with watching only their cuts, but i might try watching the whole series in the future if i have time.

14. 'Cause You're My Boy
Thai Drama - 2018, 12 episodes
the acting in this series is definitely 10/10. drake and frank (mork and tee in the show) have one of the best chemistries among the bl pairs i've seen so far. i think they're a very underrated couple.
the only thing disappointing about this is that the plot went downhill in the latter episodes. it seemed more messy as it was approaching the end. i feel like this could have potential to be a hit if they developed the story better. aside from that, everything else was perfect. the side ships were adorable (morn and gord should have their own series, too!), and the ending was touching.

15. Make It Right
Thai Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
this drama is similar to together with me, but it's portrayed in a lighter manner. there are also more side ships.
i think that the actors did a great job at their roles. i especially like ohm as frame. to be honest, i don't really like yok and dew's relationship. i appreciate that the staff wants to show the different types of love two people can have (and they did a great job at it with the others!), but something about them just creeps me out.

16. Make It Right 2
Thai Drama - 2017, 14 episodes
in my opinion, the first season was better than this one. i feel like they dragged the story too much this season, so i wasn't able to see proper character developments. there were also a lot of plot twists that i think were unnecessary.
it's still a good series, though. it was nice to see everyone be happy and hang out together towards the end. and frame and book are the sweetest.

17. Addicted
Chinese Drama - 2016, 15 episodes
this web series was really good. the actors seemed natural with their roles, and they had great chemistry with each other. the production is also commendable, especially since they only had a small budget (compared to other series). i'm usually not comfortable with a plot involving two step/brothers, but it wasn't addressed much here, so i was fine with this.
like other fans, i'm mad that china had to ban this from showing. everything was perfect about it. i sincerely hope that they can make a continuation or another season in the future because i'd really like to see them together again :(
