My Favorite Dramas

I swear this drama was tailor-made just for me. The aesthetics, the characterization, the tropes employed (and/or subverted)… pretty much all of it was crafted to appeal to me in my particular tastes.

Yes, I’ll be the first to admit that it’s not a perfect drama, and maybe I appreciate parts of it more so in concept than execution… but I don’t care! It gave me everything I've ever wanted and more! I will forever be obsessed!!!

SBS GIVE ME A SEASON 2 PLEASE I NEED IT

Romance peaked here… as did my tears.  This drama made me an emotional wreck. Help.

Incredible how something can  be so graphically violent yet so heartwarmingly sentimental at the same time. We love a well-excuted genre-bender!! (Also, the budget was budgeting)

Women's stories matter!

Yeah yeah there were some casting changes between seasons WHATEVER. Song Ji-won's storyline this season is an all-timer!!!

Probably THE fastest I've ever binged-watched a drama omg

I’m not ashamed to admit that this show had me bawling my eyes out on more than one occasion.

I wish it was more accessible to stream because it's SO unique and underrated

Slow-burn crime dramas consisting of characters constantly spouting legal jargon are not usually my thing, BUT when it works it works, idk!!!!

Fun premise. Fun execution. Fun time. I’m a sucker for ghost stories and badass female leads, and this drama gave me both! Win, win!

Goes a bit makjang in the latter half, but the presentation and aesthetics were SO GOOD I hardly registered it

It’s not particularly compelling as a mystery, but as an ensemble piece I was hooked! I became so invested in this study group and their growing bond. Like you don’t  understand—those are my babies!! (The soundtrack was doing the most though, I will admit that)

Need more historical horror in my life

As much as I adore this drama, it’s not one I’d easily recommend to others. It’s very much an acquired taste lol

Feel-good drama totally deserving of the hype!

I’m not usually one for fluffy, youth rom-coms, but something about this worked for me idk! There was a surprising amount substance to these characters

Comfort drama. Objectively speaking, it’s kind of a mess, but these characters and I are such kindred spirits. I can’t help but adore, despite its many shortcomings

VERY unique, indie-film vibe for kdrama. Main couple’s storyline was kind of meh, but everyone else was aces. Also, wow, there were a surprising number of fakeouts for a low-stakes dramedy (and yet somehow they got me everytime???)
