  • Splash Splash LOVE

    1. Splash Splash LOVE

    Korean Special - 2015, 2 episodes

    9.0

The first drama special and still one of the best in my opinion.

  • Hana-Kimi

    2. Hana-Kimi

    Japanese Drama - 2007, 12 episodes

    9.0

The j-drama that started it all for me. I finished this in one day.

Update: It’s on Netflix now and I need to say more about this drama. It’s absolutely hilarious but will also make you cry. I hate men but I love how this drama just shows boys being boys having fun, getting angsty, falling in love, and being stupid. Never really liked the couple but I stayed for the brotherhood.

  • You Drive Me Crazy

    3. You Drive Me Crazy

    Korean Special - 2018, 4 episodes

    8.5

I don't think I could have survived not having all the episodes at once. It's more like a movie that was divided into episodes. The chemistry is so strong between the leads and the acting was right up my alley.

  • Dr. Romantic

    4. Dr. Romantic

    Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes

    10

Don't let the title mislead you. Romantic has a different meaning here, it describes how the characters live their life in a way. They live it passionately in different aspects.  If you're in it for the romance, the kisses and the romantic tension will keep you going. If you're in it for the medical scenes, totally exciting and interesting. And if you're in it for the story, you'll enjoy the ride! I watched this just after the season 2 was announced and I loved it! It has pulled me out of my kdrama fatigue.

  • Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo

    5. Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo

    Japanese Drama - 2013, 16 episodes

    9.0

For the school romance fans, either you've watched this or you have to watch this.

  • Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo Season 2

    6. Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo Season 2

    Japanese Drama - 2014, 16 episodes

    9.0

The second season is like fantasy fulfillment for the first few episodes and then just pure romance and relationship and character development towards the end. I miss them already.

  • Girl from Nowhere

    7. Girl from Nowhere

    Thai Drama - 2018, 13 episodes

    8.5

Not for the faint-hearted. This show will take you to different places each episode and not one more or less creepier than the other. You'll personally relate to at least one episode (although, i hope not as extreme as in the show).

  • Still 17

    8. Still 17

    Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes

    9.5

I watched this while it was airing but I imagine it would be a great binge because the whole time you’re on the edge of the seat waiting for the characters to get the reveal ugh i love that feeling and this drama brings it to the extreme. The pining is so satisfying! -so if you’re into that, this is a fun watch.

  • Marriage, Not Dating

    9. Marriage, Not Dating

    Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes

    9.0

Is this underrated? I’m not sure.

Fluff romance mixed with hilarious characters and events. Tissues not required but you can still have them at standby at the last episode when you realize the drama is over. I will forever love this drama for making a lot of my days better, it’s so rewatchable too.

  • Page Turner

    10. Page Turner

    Korean Special - 2016, 3 episodes

    9.0

Short and pretty. Brilliant acting from the main cast. Simple yet emotionally powerful plot. You may need tissues for this one.

  • D-Day

    11. D-Day

    Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes

    9.5

Chaotic and intense events. Passionate and strong characters. If you're a fan of disaster movies, definitely an easy binge.

  • Angry Mom

    12. Angry Mom

    Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes

    9.5

An easy binge to when you feel like you've been living like a robot and need some help to laugh and cry. (Worked for me!)

  • Cheer Up!

    13. Cheer Up!

    Korean Drama - 2015, 12 episodes

    8.5

    It’s the kilig for me.

Honorable mention: The best friend/frenemy fight plotline hit hard.

  • Search: WWW

    14. Search: WWW

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    9.5

Usually, I find business dramas dragging and can't binge them properly without skipping so much but this one is an exception.

  • Noble Boys

    15. Noble Boys

    Japanese Drama - 2019, 18 episodes

    7.5

The poster honestly threw me off but I got sucked in by the cast. No regrets. One of the few cringey plots that I don't completely regret watching because of the pretty good acting and some emotionally confusing events that kept me on the edge of my seat.

Dont expect some deep progression, the ending is pretty simple.

Update: was this really good? Or was I just blinded by the Noble Boys >.< Maybe a good binge for some eyecandy????

  • Move to Heaven

    16. Move to Heaven

    Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

    10

Get your tissues ready!!!!! And more tissues because there is no second season!!!!

  • Date My Daughter!

    17. Date My Daughter!

    8.5

Wholesome mother-daughter drama with some cute romance <3

And here starts the binge worthy romance jdramas…

  • Only Just Married

    18. Only Just Married

    Japanese Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

    8.0

Fake marriage trope is my weakness and this drama knew all the ways to hit me in my Achilles heel.

  • Our Sister's Soulmate

    19. Our Sister's Soulmate

    Japanese Drama - 2020, 9 episodes

    10

Family and romance wholesomeness, green flag male lead, greenest flag female lead.

The characters in this drama are very mature and genuine, sometimes we need breaks from stressful characters and plots. This is like a therapeutic drama.

This is so domestic yet so fun! Momoko is the GOAT, she really is a precious adult living her life contently and deserves all the happiness in the world.

  • Why I Dress Up for Love

    20. Why I Dress Up for Love

    Japanese Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

    9.0

Last but definitely not the least, probably my favorite jdrama couple ever (dethroned I Don’t Love You Yet couple).

I love how it’s also about self-love in terms of being true to yourself and moving on from a traumatic experience that may be holding you back.

  • Animals

    21. Animals

    Japanese Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

    9.0

Honorable mention to this drama which is also about learning how to love yourself. We love character development.

Know your worth and at the same time, respect and appreciate other people’s worth.
