Chani
South Korean
I don't consider him an idol even though he's one since he played the young version of the male lead in The Innocent Man (2012), his adult version there Song Joong Ki is one of my faves. As for himself, he's easily the best actor among the princes in Under the Queen's Umbrella

Lee Jun Ho
South Korean
He's possibly the only idol actor that i will put in any like/fave list (aside from Chani which I consider more as a former child actor than idol). He really exceeded my expectations in The Red Sleeve, his acting of the character doesn't feel like an idol inserted in a sageuk for popularity's sake. He speaks and acts in the drama like a believable royal that lived in that era and the intonation and diction of his vocie changes depending on his character's age. Haven's seen his other works aside from Red Sleeve and Good Manager but he chose working with directors Kim Chul Kyu (Flower of Evil director) and Kim Jin Won (Innocent Man director), both directed other dramasn that resulted in great acting of the casts, so I applaud him with choosing to improve his craft instead of working in high school or trendy dramas other idols are used to doing. The drama of his that I'm not interested in watching is King the Land (I read from trusted reviewers that it doesn't do justice to his acting skills plus this drama's shippers annoy me with downplaying his Red Sleeve costar Lee Se Young)
