C-Dramas
This list contains only C-dramas I have finished. The ranking is according to my personal taste based on: 1) story, 2) actors, 3) chemistry between the leads, 4) visuals, 5) music, and 6) any other specific reasons.
10 — I loved everything and was hooked the whole time (Masterpiece).
9+ — I loved everything, but some aspects had minor hiccups.
8+ — I really liked it, but maybe some parts felt too draggy or lacked something.
7+ — Overall I liked it, but the chemistry between the actors wasn't enough for me.
6+ — Missed not only on chemistry, but the visuals or production weren't to my liking either.
5+ — The show misses a lot; at this rating, I would only continue if the story is engaging enough or if at least one actor is among my favourites.
4+ — This rating means everything is weak, and even the actors can barely save it.
<4 — I have probably quit this show.

An absolute masterpiece in all aspects.

The drama that made me fall in love with the actors Hou Ming Hao and Lu Yu Xiao.
-
3. Love between Fairy and Devil
Chinese Drama - 2022, 36 episodes
The very first C-Drama I ever watched. Dylan Wang was perfect as Dongfang Qingcang, the Moon Supreme! Loved the chemistry between the leads.
-
4. Moonlight
Chinese Drama - 2021, 36 episodes
I absolutely loved the chemistry between Ding Yu Xi and Esther Yu. Way better than in LGIEF.
-
5. Love You Seven Times
Chinese Drama - 2023, 38 episodes
My third Ding Yu Xi drama. It made me fall in love with him even more—his acting was so versatile as Chu Kong. Perfect skill!
-
6. Melody of Golden Age
Chinese Drama - 2024, 40 episodes
My second Ding Yu Xi drama. This one made me fall in love with his acting skill. I really enjoyed his chemistry with Deng Enxi.
-
7. Love Like the Galaxy: Part 1
Chinese Drama - 2022, 27 episodes
-
8. Love Game in Eastern Fantasy
Chinese Drama - 2024, 32 episodes
My very first Ding Yu Xi drama. The lack of kisses impacted the rating, even though I know the story wasn't about that. Also, this is not the drama that put Ding Yu Xi on my pedestal; Mu Sheng didn't entirely grow on me, but the ending really upped the overall rating.

9. Back from the Brink
Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes
Watched for Hou Ming Hao. The chemistry between the leads felt like it was lacking something, even though both are great actors and among my favourites.
-
10. Romance of a Twin Flower
Chinese Drama - 2023, 38 episodes
Watched for Ding Yuxi.
-
11. Meteor Garden
Chinese Drama - 2018, 50 episodes
Just to see the mighty Dongfang Qingcang's first role. Overall, it felt too long.
