My All-Time Favorites

The one that started it all. This might be my favorite thing of all time. The story, characters, acting, everything is just perfect for me. Might go back and rewatch after I finish this list.

My 5th favorite piece of media ever. When I say piece of media, I mean books, all shows, movies, music, videos, video games. This show was my life. I literally bombed my PSAT because I stayed up 2 nights straight doing nothing but watching it. I am obsessed with Wei Ying Luo, she is such an icon. I love this show so much. 

Same as Lovely Runner. A guy who is very in love, great acting from the FLs and a captivating plot. Ahn Eun Bin and Namkoong Min did such a good job in this. The world building was insane too. Amazing drama overall, I was sobbing at some point.

I'm a sucker for long historical drams where the FL starts out lowly and rises her way to the top. The ML was surprisingly great which they usually aren't in harem dramas.

What can I say, this show is right up my alley. Usually it takes me at least 1 year before I can forget enough of a drama to want to rewatch it but I watched this one twice back to back. That's how much I enjoyed it. I love actors with unique voices a lot (Uhm Tae Goo, Seo Ye Ji, Lee Soo Hyuk) and the FL is one of my favorites behind Ji Eun Tak from Goblin

They did not have to go this hard. I have never cried so much at a show that I got sick and couldn't go to school for a couple days. It literally broke my heart. Dong myeong, my heart will always break for you. 

Gave me a vibe similar to the webtoon. And the webtoon is one of my favorite pieces of media in the world. Specifically the movie, I hated the show (love you tho Kim Go Eun).

I miss this show so much. Nanno is everything to me. Please someone spawn a season 3

Why is Yuri here man. I hate annoying characters so much. My issue with Yuri is not that she's evil, she's just not satisfying/entertaining to watch. She just pmo fr.

If you have watched these shows, you'll see a running theme. I love shows with guys that are very in love, and this guy was very in love.

Trashy in the best way possible. I have no issue with a show being bad (this one is very bad) but just don't be boring. I really wish they came out with a season 4 to close out the story. Yes I enjoyed season 3 more than the others

One of my two favorite actors in a story I just like to see.

My favorite makjang of all time. This show was so good it got my kdrama-hating brother hooked on it. I remember being able to recite every scene involving Kim Young Dae because of how big of a crush I had on him. Anyway banger show, give it a try. 

Oh man. Kim Go Eun AND Lee Min Ho? I tuned in so quickly. Now I watch it every year. This shit is like crack directly in my veins bro.

This was sitting in my watch list for so long, I am really glad I picked it up. Another one of the "guy is very in love" trope. I am always going to eat that up

First time I ever felt real rage at a character and also a will to kill someone. K-trauma but I loved every second of it.

Just like SOYP, a girl who has nothing, pulls herself to the top. Long, historical drama, it's all I've ever wanted in life really.

I was shipping Jeon Jong Seo and Kim Mu Yeol so bad in this I actually got annoyed anytime Ji Chang Wook came on screen and I love Ji Chang Wook. Also, Lee Soo Hyuk again

Another one like SOYP and Dong Yi, I don't know what's wrong with me. Give me harem, give me palace intrigue, and give me a FL who has to claw her way to the top, and it's going premium in my house. 

Debated putting this here (fuck kim soo hyun), but I can't deny a good story.

I was very young when I watched this, and my standards back then were very low. But this one still holds a lot of nostalgia for me. Also, I remember thinking the FL was very hot. 

he first 16 episodes are the coziest I've ever felt watching a show. Do not ask me about the rest of the show, it doesn't exist.
