my 9-10/10s (recommendation list for BL series)

one of the best BL series to EVER exist, anyone who disagrees can honestly argue with the wall.

PLOT: Enemies to lovers with EXTREME sexual and romantic tension + heist action. YinWar never disappoint.

(just a warning - prepare yourself for special EP.... you'll NEED it.)

funfact: YinWar put a shit ton of money into this, even going as far as Yin letting go of his dream car so he can fund this, as well as they made the script for it. JUST FOR THE FANS. now THIS is the standard.

the sets/props and cinematography for this was absolutely INSANEEE. ZeeNunew my canon babies never disappoint with their chemistry <3

PLOT: 'normal boy' turned prince falls for his royal bodyguard. it also raises attention to global polution, misogyny/feminism, and (TW:) domestic abuse! definitely a masterpiece of a BL series.

a classic. 1 series 2 stories that slightly interlock. the absolutely insane birth of BossNoeul and FortPeat, truly iconic. chemistry off the charts, of course.

PLOT Love Storm (episodes 1-7):  stubborn brat tries to make a guy he 'doesn't like' fall for him.. ends up falling for him instead, as he learns to be more responsible (? no idea how i should explain PhayuRain plot ngl, it's kinda crazy but i promise it's still good)

PLOT Love Sky (episodes 8-13): playboy rich CEO gets obsessed with a one night stand and falls in love with him, helping him with his trauma on the way (TW: mentions of SA)

+ special episode of both couples just being cute and freakazoids

FortPeat again <3 absolutely loved this one and cried when i finished it..

PLOT: rich brat BL author travels to the seaside for inspiration, and meets someone on the way.. then buys him. he's scared of love due to trauma (TW: domestic abuse) and slowly heals and learns how to love/be loved <3 special episode goes CRAAZYYYY they are absolute FREAKAZOIDDSSS

funfact: Fort designed and made the bracelet all by himself, because he knew Peat would be the one wearing it <3 (you'll know what i mean after the watch)

BossNoeul my parents absolutely knocked it out once again! i think about CirPhu all the time..

PLOT: What would you do if a popular senior came to you after running from the hospital after a car accident and told you he was from an alternative universe where you were lovers? the plot twists go INSANE! also special episode is very cute and freeaakkyy

funfact: if you watch Love Sea before/after (doesn't matter) you'll find out something very interesting aobut this series!

probably one of the last series one should call their ''''comfort''' series'..... but apparently my brain doesn't go by those rules..... anyways, YinWar again! honestly, this one's kind of a mess, and YinWar chemistry mostly saves this but the plot is FULL OF DRAMA! so you better prepare emotionally because it is ANGSTY.

PLOT: enemies to lovers - guy that hates his junior that's in love with his taken friend helps him get over his heartbreak, and slowly falls for him.. except..... he has a girlfriend.. (i know it sounds bad and it IS bad but it's still a worth watch pls i promise)

somehow Vee is capable of being the biggest red flag yet a green flag at the same. i both love and absolutely hate him.

funfact: this is the rewritten full version of a story that's from a side couple in the series: En Of Love! if you want to see the VeeMark origins, you can watch En Of Love: Love Mechanics. just a warning, it's somehow even crazier than this one and also.. like really bad but hilarious as fuck at the same time. plus it was the YinWar origins!

dare i say, a MUSTTTTT WATCH. everything goes absolutely insane here. the tension, the romance, everything. ngl this is one of the series i got crazy emotionally attached to. this one's a CBL btw! (but it's not just fish lips kisses, i assure you, dare i say it's kinda freaky, actually)

PLOT: Poor guy gets dumped by his girlfriend and finds out she has a new boyfriend. his plan: glow up and make that man fall in love with him instead so he leaves her. except.. it works, and he also falls for him.

one of the most iconic new(er) BLs. very mature yet sweet, got that 'quest to collect all the characters' trope at the beginning that's very fun.

PLOT: ordinary guy secretly dates an idol from a T-POP boygroup! it touches the sensitive subject of fans critcizing their idols just for being in a relationship.

funfact: the band in this series is an actual band called LYKN where the actors of the characters are the members! check them out on spotify if you liked the OST from the series!

ohh i put this one off for quite some time but when i actually watched it it became one of my favorites and i absolutely fell in love with BounPrem <3

PLOT: swimming club, 'friends' with benefits where they instantly fall in love but don't even realize it. plus dealing with trauma on the way (TW: guilt, loss of a loved one)

funfact: this is a spinoff of a series: Until We Meet Again. i personally haven't watched it and don't plan to because it didn't get that much of my attention but Between Us can aboslutely be watched without seeing that series at all.

possibly one of the best BL series that just finished airing recently. truly a masterpiece in terms of all of it. story, cinematography, special effects. plus KengNamping are just the sweetest <3

 TW: it's a horror series, but it's not THAT scary but if you're very sensitive to scary visuals/ghosts/spiritual stuff then i'm just warning you.

PLOT: a boy was born with a curse, he can see ghosts and (TW: mentions of death) is destined to die at the age of 21. he meets a young shaman, hoping he can help him break the curse and find the root of it, but it turns out they're more than just a shaman and pupil..
