Every drama on here has made me cry at least once while watching it. A list of dramas to come back to when I need to cry. Might update the cry scale ratings based on how well they hold up on subsequent rewatches.

The higher the rating on the cry scale: 1) I cried multiple times and/or 2) certain scenes destroyed me and left an overall melancholy when thinking of the series.

9/10 on the cry scale. There's such a beautiful sadness permeating the whole series and I love it so much it needs to be on every list possible.
6. Once Again

Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes

9/10 on the cry scale. Watching this live was torture. Something about the doomed narrative and looping really gets to me. I want to strangle this series. I love it.
