BL 5☆+

A writer, Gene, finds inspiration and romance with an actor, Nubsib, who is the lead character in Gene novel adaptation. This series explore not only the romance between the two main characters but also the complexities of the BL industry, including shipping culture. The introverted Gene becomes roommates with the gorgeous actor, Nubsib who has a hidden agenda with this rooming arrangement. The story maybe disguised as fluffy and sweet but it does touch on some interesting topics like finding romance between reality and fiction.

I only give perthsanta a 10/10. I didn't care much for the other couples 

This was my very first BL so it holds a special place in my heart that will remain 10/10. 

I genuinely think the story is very good but because it is so old it has a lot of faults but the experience that I had with it is unchangeable.

Another BL drama that I watched in the beginning of this journey so the experience of the drama will forever be 10/10.

The first one was so iconic and I always go and rewatch it but with this one, still amazing but not as much as the first one.

This drama dealt with some very heavy topics in a brilliant way. Even though a lot of people may not agree with the way type handled his trauma and abuse. I would say it happened in a real way.  I love the development with their relationship as the drama goes on.

The only reason this one doesn't get a 10 is because of the cliffhanger at the end. I understand it's because of China's censorship at the time but it did leave me very depressed for weeks. Other than that it's a fantastic drama, whenever I rewatch, I just never rewatch the last scene and it will forever remain perfect in my mind that way.

Watch all the way to like episode 12 and then from there pick up the drama back at episode 20 if you want  to skip all of the ex-boyfriend drama.
