(7/31/2025) Rewatched a lot of this drama & enjoyed it much more than 1st time. FL had about 5 guys she had to turn down.  FL as a tomboy only interested in martial arts was interesting.  ML2 really felt like ML at 1st & I really liked him especially since ML has a harsh personality.  FL chooses ML2 when he gets broken. The strained relationship (very well executed) & ML2's new darker persona turned me against him.  The flirt fighting w/FL & ML was fun to see.  FL's fighting prowess as a tiny girl was skillful.  Two characters I liked died right away (FL's bro + sis) & then we got baby voice whining loser sisters.  Deng Lung appeared a bit effeminate in the carriage ride scene, but loved it.  Wanted to slap bratty princess upside the head...way too annoying, but very pretty face.  Asking FL to smell her dead sister's blood & ML2/his mother's identification of heads scene were masterful & stomach turning. ML HINTING that ML2 was in trouble & needed to get out of town is absurd...a true friend would have told him outright.  FL hearing ML talk to grandpa about just using her made FL never trust him.  Sad FL trusted /really wanted to believe ML2 would take her to his perfect homeland...unfortunately it had turned bad/ugly just like ML2's heart.  It felt like I was experiencing how a divorce happens IRL. I wanted ML2 to be emotionally saved soooo bad.  ML & spoiled princess as a couple piqued my interest especially after their lunch together.  Music was good.

Ending - Cliffhanger:  FL w/ML on the frozen lake trying to save him from ML2's assassination.  They fall into the water.  ML sinks to bottom after pushing her up.  FL's tattoo reveals itself & starts to sparkle.  Her eyes pop wide open in surprise after either death or unconsciousness.
