2021 dramas

1. Beyond Evil
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
12/8
I don’t think its a bad drama, just not enjoying the pacing of story. Will probably pick it up again one day!
-
2. Life
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Did not enjoy the first episode sadly </3
-
3. Our Beloved Summer
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
-
4. Squid Game
Korean Drama - 2021, 9 episodes
Good plot!
-
5. Happiness
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
One of the best drama this 2021! Sadly they only did 12 episodes :( I feel like they could have gotten more in depth to extend it, but I am still satisfied with everything. HHJ & PHS chemistry is craaazy. They barely had romantic scenes , but because of how natural they are together my heart still flutters :”)
Some of the residents drove me insane *cough* the crazy doctor. Also, the plot twists of this drama AHHHH. Thank goodness we got a happy ending though.
-
6. The Guest
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Really scary at first.
-
7. Inspector Koo
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
The show is meh, but the casts is great. At this point I’m only watching it for K and Santa. I love how Kdramas are now more open to LGBTQ these days.
-
8. When the Camellia Blooms
Korean Drama - 2019, 40 episodes
Enjoyed the mystery-thriller of the show, but not the romance. I don’t see any chemistry between the ML & FL, and I find the ML annoying whenever the SML appears. Dongbaek son’s did an amazing job *chefs kiss*. They ended the drama really well. Love how everyone came together to help Dongbaek :”)
-
9. Vagabond
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Did not even realize I was already on the last episode. Lee Seung-gi is amazing as always. I also wasn’t expecting less romantic scenes when I saw spoilers of the show. Really need season 2 badly…
-
10. D.P.
Korean Drama - 2021, 6 episodes
Really short drama. Gave us an insight on what’s happening/might’ve inside the military and its effect to other people.
-
11. Doom at Your Service
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
Really cute <33 Couldn’t finish it because I’m scared of the ending, but will probably pick it up again later on.
-
12. Something in the Rain
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
Son Yeji is BEAUTIFUL. You can barely feel the age gap between her and Hae-in because of how youthful she looks. I love the slow burn of the beginning of the drama and the heart fluttering scenes when they were together. A realistic drama that shows the prejudice against older woman and younger man’s relationship and how the family’s opinion either make it stronger or ruin it.
-
13. Team Bulldog: Off-Duty Investigation
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Really funny.
-
14. My Name
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
All the casts deserved better :”( Still in denial of the ending.
-
15. Mouse
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
Will never understand how not a lot of people know this drama. Cast, plot, scenery, and OST *100000 stars*. This drama scared the hell out of me and tore me apart. The plot twist after plot twist dehydrated my brain.
-
16. Nevertheless,
Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes
Really good, but I hated how stupid Nabi is. 1 star for thevisual tho. But ngl I might Nabi my way too if I see Song Kang.
-
17. Vincenzo
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
THE BOND. One of the best dramas created! I love the relationship between all the residents of Geumga Plaza. How they all come together to kick the asses of people who try to infiltrate their home. Each one of them surprising us with a talent each episode AHHHH. Also, Cassano-nim always coming up with intelligent ways to pissed off Myeong-hui and Hanseok.
Special recognition to Jang Hanseo. I feel like all of us love him and knows that he deserved so much more :(
The ending and symbolism of the final episode was mind blowing. Honestly, the best kdrama ending I’ve watched.
-
18. Tale of the Nine-Tailed
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
A really great drama. I really like the loveline between the FL and ML, but ended up loving the relationship between the brothers instead. Sadly, I have to drop because I spoiled myself (yes I did it to myself by searching it on Twitter) and found out that Lee Rang passed away.
-
19. Law School
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
One of the best Law dramas I’ve ever watched. They gave us plot twist after plot twist. My favorite case that they handled will forever be Ye-sul’s :( I shed a lot of tears. I can’t imagine being put and gaslighted like that by someone I love. Casts have amazing chemistry with each other!! Sadly, we didn’t get enough Joon Hwi and Sol A scenes </3 Hopefully they do another season or just a special episode!
-
20. FAILing in Love
Korean Drama - 2019, 10 episodes
Definitely need a Season 2 for this drama, though it was an open ending. Usually with web dramas it is pretty obvious who will end up with who, but they really got me begging and manifesting <//3 Sadly my ship (maybe) did not end up together, but the fact that they go to the same university could be another beginning again!
-
21. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
A healing drama that become slightly dark towards the end. I love the backstory of literally everyone in the village. Thank you for giving all the characters the love and spotlight that they deserved! Really made me mad, cry, laugh, and fall in love at the same time <3
-
22. 100 Days My Prince
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
All I want is a Lee Yool / Na Won-deuk in my life. This is the type of slow burn I love. Kyungsoo gives me butterflies every episode and blows me away with his manliness. Everything is just amazing in this drama. Hong-shim beingthe powerful female lead she is AHHH. Also, the stories of the couples we have -> the SML and the girl, Crown Princess + Mooyeon, Kkeut-nyeo + Gudol, and even Hong-shim’s father and that ahjumma. The ending of the show was just perfect, thought I wish we can see them get married for the second time again!
-
23. Save Me
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Too slow for me, but might pick up again one day because it has a lot of potential.
-
24. Her Private Life
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Dropped the drama because I lost interest after they ended up together. Still a great drama nonetheless.
-
25. Extracurricular
Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
Everything is amazing except the FL. Her backstory is great, but I don’t like how she ruined the whole business, and the way sh/ acting like a “leader” when all she ever did was fuckedup the whole thing. I feel like her role was supposed to be some badass girlboss, but it ended up as a spoiled bratty rich kid. Such a shame because her character was great, until she got involved with the business.
-
26. Nightmare Teacher
Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes
Good drama to watched if you are looking for a quick & satisfying drama. Gives you goosebumps and both leads are really cute together.
-
27. Lawless Lawyer
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
The leads have amazing chemistry, but I just can’t enjoy it :( I find the cases boring and also not the biggest fan of how the story flows
-
28. Run On
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
New character job unlocked!
Dropped the drama because I got tired of the romance lmao. One of the scenes that sticks out to me is when they were watching a movie, the theatre was almost empty but she stayed because she wants to see her name in the credits. This really changed my mindset, so now every time I watched a movie/drama I watched it to the end to show respect to the production team :)
-
29. 18 Again
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Really good drama, but since I already watched the original one I lost interest on how similar they are. Will most likely pick it up again in the future!
-
30. Hellbound
Korean Drama - 2021, 6 episodes
There were some parts where I spaced out, but this drama was really good and showed how misinformation can create chaos. They twisted religion as something to be feared, instead of a place where people usually look for hope.
The ending scene between the family was heart breaking. Maybe if the stone, muddy monsters were God’s work, then it could be a sign that he would not punish an innocent baby and the perpetrators (who wanted to kill the child because of the doctrine) that they follow are the ones in the wrong. It felt like the baby’s birth was the eye-opener and the one that triggered the people’s humanity again.
A bit confused about ending, but LESSGO SEASON 2!!!
-
31. Kingdom: Ashin of the North
Korean Special - 2021, 1 episode
Perfect for this role. I could not imagine anyone else portraying this role! The story was really amazing, and I could not wait to see her on season 3.
-
32. While You Were Sleeping
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
The chemistry between the three casts are phenomenal. They showed how a person can love in different ways. The cases that were handled in the story was really good and it teaches us a lesson every time. Unexpected plot twist in the end.
-
33. My Roommate Is a Gumiho
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
-
34. Sweet & Sour
Korean Movie - 2021
couldn’t hate anyone in this movie </3 really realistic representation of adult relationships. the plot twist on the end was really shocking and unexpected.
-
35. Shadow Beauty
Korean Drama - 2021, 13 episodes
