Might be the first time that a sequal is so much better than the original. Leave my boys alone, they are very personal to me.

  • My Love Mix-Up!

    I done caught amnesia.

  • Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!
    8.0

The premise is so absurd, I didn't think I would love it as much as I did. Didn't care much about the side couple, I hated them.

  • The Heart Killers: Uncut

    7. The Heart Killers: Uncut

    Thai Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

    7.0

Ah, yes, another great portrayal of the bdsm scene (/sarcastic). I have my problems with this bl but that's always the case with me. Watching bl is my guilty pleasure so all my ratings are generous enough (sometimes). Had a super fun time with this one so I'm willing to ignore all the problems, just don't use this as your source for bdsm education kids ! or any sort of education for that matter. Last two episodes sort of dragged on, would've been better to see them live seperate lives while away from each other but it's fine, I forgive their urge to include egregious fan service.

  • The Boy Next World: Uncut

    22. The Boy Next World: Uncut

    Thai Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    4.0

I wish they explored the parallel worlds concept more and leaned into explaining it instead of just letting it be a "dream" for most of it and then giving a half assed whimsy romantic explanation for it at the end. If you remove the whimsy music and editing and replace it with a more creepy soundtrack, Cirrus could easily be made to look like the obsessive weirdo that he actually was. Side couple was so cute, wish we saw more of them instead.

  • When It Rains, It Pours

    23. When It Rains, It Pours

    Japanese Drama - 2025, 7 episodes

    3.5

I wrote too many words explaining my thoughts on this and hit the word limit, just a short tidbit that should explain the sheer amount of thoughts I have about this bl.

The story lacked perspectives from the love interests and that was where it failed miserably. It lacked proper commitment to the plethora of heavy topics picked to be executed throughout, and ended up with a very poor execution of all of them. Sei is a mystery to us till Ep 6, in which his story is finally told and it starts with us watching him being forgiven for something that should not be forgiven (it's such a rushed aftermath with no complexity of emotions and just a simple forgiveness from Nakarai), and then we have to hear a wildly elaborate and shallow (emphasis on shallow) explanation for all his weird behaviours. They could've easily made him an asexual character with a profound loneliness and some survivor's guilt, but instead they chose whatever this route was. A person's reaction to grief is never rational, but there are so many holes to his reasoning as to why he did the things he did and no proper justification was provided (I'm not talking about the sexual assault since that could never be justified, I was mainly referring to the coldness and possessiveness Sei portrayed even before we got to his explanation of it all). We also didn't get to see the girl's perspective at all which was extremely frustrating since it had so much potential to be the profound emotional complexity this drama seems to love to be aiming for all throughout. We heard from her for a minute or two maximum and that's it from her, guess the audience doesn't need the woman to speak more.

I was more frustrated watching this than I was watching Revenged Love, which says something, because that drama made me feel insane (in a bad way).

Decent soundtrack and direction tho. A decent production in general. Production team, you're not at fault here. Writers, you are.

  • I Hear the Sunspot

    24. I Hear the Sunspot

    Japanese Drama - 2024, 12 episodes

    3.0

Everyone praising this bl like it's revolutionary meanwhile throughout the show I was astounded by the lack of efforts made by the love interest to accomodate the deaf/ mostly deaf protagonist. The girl was very reasonable when she hated on the love interest, he was not taking the protagonist seriously. Pure ignorance and lack of accommodation. If you want an actually good, well written bl with a deaf/mostly deaf protagonist - read "Not So Silent" on webtoon.

  • My Personal Weatherman

    25. My Personal Weatherman

    Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    3.0
  • I Cannot Reach You

    26. I Cannot Reach You

    Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    2.0

    Overhyped.

  • Where Your Eyes Linger

    27. Where Your Eyes Linger

    Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes

    2.0

Maybe too harsh of a rating for such a small production, but I was so seriously bored.

  • Bump Up Business

    28. Bump Up Business

    Korean Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    2.0
  • Reloved

    29. Reloved

    Thai Drama - 2025, 10 episodes

    1.0

The plot actually made me want to rip my hair out, saying I disliked it would be a huge understatement. It seriously made me want to hit someone, dragging the widely used miscommunication trope to lengths unimaginable. I was in awe of the fact that they managed to find ways to keep the miscommunication going till the end. Astoundingly horrible plot.
