Allies from pretty early on in the series. FL pursues ML first.

Allies/best friends from pretty early on. FL pursues friendship first and develops into romance.

Main characters do have a bit of antagonism  in the beginning (mostly on the FL side). The antagonism isn't belabored. They become friends and develop a romance pretty quickly.

Contemporary Romance with sci-fi elements.

They start  dating pretty quickly. Become a couple and allies in a RPG game.

Contemporary e-sport romance.

Older woman/Younger man. ML pursues FL first. The ML does try to drive the FL away at first, but he gets smitten with her pretty fast.

Allies pretty early on. This is a bit of a taboo pairing. There is an age gap with the ML being a supernatural being. Probably not THAT taboo from a Chinese historical fantasy perspective since this genre is filled with mentor/men-tee relationships in which a cultivator of unknown age courts an 18-year old or early 20-something.
