Dramas with great OSTs

FANGS of FORTUNE has hands down the greatest OST and is a cut above every other drama in every way - bangers, unique sound and the music creates the mood and tells the story perfectly. Smashed it, phenomenal, Influential.

Revenge Love OST is exceptional in how well the songs create its angsty vibe and fit the mood and tell the story. It rocks your heart, Even the opening song expresses the light and jovial heart of our WeiWei so perfectly.

The shounen story architype is just so dear to my heart. So an Ost or song that can produce the feeling of heroes adventuring, experiencing sorrows and joys makes my heart surge with that ML aura. The song for that brief moment produces within you the thrill of exploration, the confidence to face any challenge, triumph or failure, the satisfaction of transformation. This opening song creates that blend of hope, personal resilience, the deep of life lived. A good shounen theme song will make that experience yours for that moment.

The opening song still resonates throughout my being. Some songs cannot be expressed or described beyond that they have taken hold of you and griped your heart. It is an incredible banger. The opening song of this drama is the feelings and the connection and the story between the two main leads summed up and felt and expressed in a few minutes. The rest of the ost is wonderful as an accompaniment as well.

When this drama first aired it was a phenomenal hit. The soundtrack was a huge part of that. Jeff Satur composed and wrote the songs that became the drama and told the story perfectly. We find songs wild and energetic, bold and deep, soft and vulnerable. Great ost. PLenty of bangers.

Wow, blown away. Exceptional ost. No ost has come close to touching Fangs of Fortune until now. First off great opening and great original score throughout. The music really tells the story and emotions of the characters. And what gives this drama its unique vibe are the songs by the artist Shin Li. These songs are straight up bangers.

The opening theme song PRETTY is unique and fresh. It's brilliant. It is revolutionary and is setting a trend and leading it. The song immediately tells us who Yok and Ing are and the story between them. It's explosive and electric with potential. When the next opening song LOVE ME is played it totally pierces our hearts as it so perfectly meets the emotional mood that our characters are moving through. It is the feelings Ing and Yok become swallowed by - that sick feeling of love and pain that overwelms.

These songs are a mix of English and Chinese lyrics with a sound that is something like French Noir meets New Wave. Shin Li's songs instantly makes the drama feel young, relevant and edgy. Simultaneously emitting a refined and crystal clear image of the drama and characters.

Fantastic job by the director and writing team in creating a story that matches these timeless compositions. The music is brought to life in a new way and seamlessly tells the story between Kang Pio and Choi Jeongyu. This drama is beautiful and moving because of the music and how it provides the emotion and crescendos and decrescendos of the plot line.

this drama did something that the "Harry Potter' films were able to do with its original score. It has created a sound that is its own vibe and remarkably characterizes the drama. It inspired me to create a new list called 'fall time spooky vibe dramas' because of its feel.

A shounen story architype. Same response as put in Dashing Youth. This song is catered to Wang Hedi and the character he plays in this drama. Well done.

A shounen story archetype. Read response to Dashing Youth OST. This opening is dear to my heart because this drama and the characters are the most dear to my heart because this is my all time favorite #1 drama at the top of my list forever.

Incredible voice for the main opening song. Wow what a unique sound, emotional, strong and resonating. The way we connect this song later to a character an understand its story deeper was well done. It draws us into the song and story further.

This drama gives us something emotional and real. It provoked our hearts for an era. And it captured that era so faultlessly and transported us to that tumultuous time. It did this through the characters and costumes and historical events but you can't bring the 70s alive without the music. And the music took us right back to that time.

Opening song 'A Lifetime Waiting for You' by Tia Ray lives rent free in my heart! Love this song, Love Tia!

For such a terrible drama they absolutely got it right with the banger that Liu Yuning sung 'sole love'. The only time I thought the drama was okay was when that song was playing.
