Right Place, Wrong Person.
-
1. The Sadness
Taiwanese Movie - 2021
38:19 - Felt like a safe place to stop. You're turning into feverish-cannibals, sure. But why be so creepy and lewd about it? A bit much for my taste. Also the Gore was a bit slimy.
-
2. Attack the Gas Station!
Korean Movie - 1999
38:52 - "Have the 1990's Gods forsaken me? »
Love the fashion, but this dutch-angles fest not so much. Here lighting is optional, humour questionable and I don't have the patience to wait for the 'good part' of the story. -
3. Young and Dangerous
Hong Kong Movie - 1996
16:05 - I know it's 1996, but no. Sorry Ekin Cheng.
-
4. Affinity
Chinese Drama - 2026, 40 episodes
Episode 2 : I knew those shrooms were no good.
I can’t seem to shutdown my brain enough to enjoy this. It looked like so much fun though… -
5. Demon City Oni Goroshi
Japanese Movie - 2025
53:39 - Now that's jumping the shark. I cannot believe they pulled that - out of thin air. Welcome to Bull-Turd City.
-
6. Spring Fever
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Episode 2 : Sure.
Episode 3 : Just to be sure. I am not blaming the Feeds, I just wanted to make sure the puppy was all right.
-
7. Honour
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Episode 4: Basically underwhelming and full of clichés -and next level product placement. Thankful for Jung Eun Chae's performance while awaiting anticipated Seo Hyeon Woo villainous apparition. Sadly his performance felt forced -if anything. The Legal Nemesis never materialized.Episode 5 : Realised un-dropping this was a huge mistake as I hate-watched this episode. Also my least favorite trope was suddenly part of this mess. Amnesia! But it's fake amnesia and also irrelevant to the struggling plot., so no one cares. Also shock-value feels like the driving force here.
-
8. Million-Follower Detective
Taiwanese Drama - 2026, 8 episodes
Somewhere in Episode 5 : Ekin Cheng’s character is taking the longest "Boomer Nap" in Thriller History and I am pissed! The breakthrough in the previous episode was short-lived. So far the most formulaic watch of the bunch. Soporific cops taking walks (and talks) between naps, trauma-dump of flashbacks, oh and dutch-angles for fun. Not thrilled.
I never drop mid-ep, ususally.
-
9. Burn the House Down
Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes
Episode 3 : The Villainess is gluttony incarnate—a bottomless pit of competition—and I loved that. But in this 13-year-long revenge plot, the most pressing question that comes to mind is, 'What is that pastry?' rather than 'Who burned the house down?
-
10. Siren’s Kiss
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Somewhere in Episode 3 : The "Cliché" Overload is real, the logic gaps are flowing and the product placement is off the charts. Even Wi Ha Joon's hair and Park Min Young's performance couldn't save this drama for me. Was hoping for Bargain levels of tension and got Makjang levels of convenience.
Also a mid-ep drop. -
11. The Cursed
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Episode 5 : Unhinged shaman, scary teen and clueless policemen. Great combo until the app comes crashing down. The idea was interesting though. And the first 'procedure' was peak.
-
12. Striking Rescue
Chinese Movie - 2024
32:20 - I'm always happy to see Tony Jaa. But no. Sorry Tony Jaa.
-
13. Bloodhounds Season 2
Korean Drama - 2026, 7 episodes
Episode 2 : I am really thinking about dropping this. Really. Really. Seriously. I have finally experienced a nothing-burger. Even though Rain's moves (and abs) are just mesmerizing I cannot stand this massive Bulgari-Shoei-Ducati ad. There is no story here, the fights are happening for no reason. I am livid.
Jason Kim is wasting abs. -
14. Mad Concrete Dreams
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Somewhere in Episode 2 : I do not mind Bike Propaganda. However I was hit with a severe case of Sad Montage Fatigue, Immense Predictability and "Dad Constipated" Comedy.
The only thrilling things here were the snail rescue and the first 5 minutes of episode 2.
Also what a waste of Kim Nam Gil. -
15. Perfect Crown
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Episode 5 : Hot People doing Bland Things in a very inflamable palace in a Subway ad, but with cars.
-
16. The Drifting Classroom
Japanese Movie - 1987
22:11 - I don't think I can go further, this is pure, unadulterated 80s "wack" energy. So many weird choices for this adaptation. Like replacing the manga’s bleak survival horror with disturbing oversexualized tropes, maddening sound effects, and a purple haze that obscured the actual plot. Also mom looks like she's in a 90s j-rom-com. What?
The "Gone School" shot was cool, but life is too short for clown instrument and confusing fondling scenes. -
17. My Dearest Assassin
Thai Movie - 2026
1:04:49 - I did the math: 1 bullet, plus 2 bullets, plus another 2... then an additional 48.
Dropped for terminal overkill? I wanted to worry about Chai, not maths. -
18. Mudborn
Taiwanese Movie - 2025
50:49- Sashimi-Parenting and a Spinning Wheel of horror tropes.
1:11:19 - and a total of two cool scenes feel like too little, too late. At this point, I couldn't care less about the resolution. The lore was buried and the VR—an anecdote. -
19. Boyfriend on Demand
Korean Drama - 2026, 10 episodes
Episode 3 : Episode 3 : This has been On-Hold for the last 3 months, all I can remember is Seo Kang Jun being mesmerizing, as usual. Odds are—I'll never go back to this.
Probably! -
20. Hell University
Filipino Drama - 2026, 18 episodes
-
21. Akogare no Sakka wa Ningen ja Arimasen Deshita
Japanese Drama - 2026, 8 episodes
Episode 3: I am still watching this, but there's no way I'll actually finish it. It's fun to mock-watch so far though.
Episode 5 : I can't believe I'm still watching this. But I am. Like, I really am.Note to self 'Do not put titles on this list preemptively.'
-
22. The Scarecrow
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Episode 6 : Today is a sad-sad day. I’m dropping this despite it being one of the most interesting things I started in 2026. The 1988 timeline, and the diabolical chemistry between the leads were works of art—but the "Spoiler Police" on MDL failed me.
"Death by a Thousand Spoilers."
I’m really mad, but mostly sad. It wasn't perfect; the dizzy-cam and the sister-trope were already gnawing at me. But once a thriller is stripped of its mystery by external noise, it's dead to me.
The Scarecrow shouldn't be on my dropped list. I have zero doubt in my heart about that, and that’s why this entry pains me.
-
23. Project Y
Korean Movie - 2025
57:20 - I don't have anything to say.
-
24. The Legend of Kitchen Soldier
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Episode 3 : Looking back on this, Episode 1 was such an amazing start! But Episode 2 was a total let-down; it instantly shifted into a standard dramedy, and the cool hallucinations couldn't save the day. Episode 3 delivered just more bickering, fewer hallucinations, and a failing gaming UI. The concept was cool at first, but now it's doing nothing for the plot.
Also, no way that tonkatsu saved the day when it sat around for half an episode! I didn't buy that for a second. Don't add insult to injury on fried food!
It feels like this drama baited me with a slick pilot, but then expected me to be a different person to enjoy it! -
25. Fifties Professionals
Korean Drama - 2026, 12 episodes
Episode 3 : I needed more Velmonica Mars and less "Heroic Bloodshed" callbacks, we get it they were all badass at some point. But also, why is a 70-year-old Yakuza boss explaining local voting trends to a Korean mayoral candidate? And was glass on sale? Are the most pressing questions I'm left with.
Lastly, breaking the fourth wall is a responsibility, not a right. -
26. Wu
Thai Drama - 2026, 9 episodes
Episode 4 : "When the wind blows, it blows." so this is where I draw the line, getting windsplained.
And one date by a lake, two beers, and three minutes of Pete wrestling a terrible CGI asset on a black screen = Mastery over a world-ending entity?
Also, not enough Godji.
