1/31/2025-2/5/2025

I always wanted to watch this but never did cuz of how many eps. idk why cuz I watch cdramas lol. But then my aunt said she loved it recently so I was like ok I'll give it a go.

And wow it was amazing. No wonder why it got so popular. The storyline was so fresh; I've never seen anything like this at all.  I mean a story where an assasin shifts souls into a servant and becomes a master to her master (?) cuz like she works for him as a servant but she's still a master in the sense of master-student to ML.  But man what a complicated relationship they have and I am so for it! Everyone acted so well, the expressions and everything. I've seen the FL before from "father is strange" and "This is my first life" 6 years ago in 2019 how nostolgic, I was so new to kdramas back then. I also saw ML as SML in "exeordinary you" in 2020 or so, so it's nice to see him here without an unrequired love and as a main lead. But fr tho his acting suprised me sm. He was amazing here. 

The love triangles didn't even bother me. I like that they didn't go the stereotypical jealousy route where they turn evil cuz they cant have her. In cdramas they keep doing this.  was nice take on that where the love rivals can have alliances/friendships. SML who didnt backstab the ML, he mostly was quiet about his love for her. The prince was louder in his confessions but he still respected her and took a step back

I love the strong themes of friendship + found family here. The supporting cast did well too and the villain. A great epic journey full of love and sadness. How so much can be lost in a blink of an eye too. Loved seeing ML gain honor and how he got accepted. But that was just the beginning of everything. the beginning of sacrifice and hardships. 

The fantasy like this isn't somthin they usually go for. I really hope they do more. Idk how S2 will be, I'm worried cuz it's a different actress and it feels different without her but lets see.

Was suprised to see the 2 featured negitive reviews on S2 page. I thought it was great

It's been a long time where there was a long ep show that I wanted more eps of. This drama was such a big take on epic fantasy and they did so well. I loved the setting of a world where people do alchemy of souls and we got to see the orginization for the people who shifts their souls/bielive in it. I liked that it showed FL as a morally gray character.  ML isn't like super rightous and I like that tbh. It shows his flaws like how he asked FL if he should just stay with her or go out and save the world instead.

Every actor did a great job, the supporting roles and everyone. I liked that even tho it's ML's journey, it's not JUST about him. It was about the side characters too, their feelings, the villians, and the story of the past that played a large role in the present. Everyone's story were tied together really well.

 The first 2 eps shots for ML were crazy good. They made him super mysterous and u can tell that ML heart is being stabbed over and over even 3 years later. Even I was like "o fuk" whenever ML came in. I felt like he was a second away from setting fire to the world for what they did to him.

Then FL came by and lit up his world again. She helped him move on from his past love and love again. ok yeah FL's soul is the same as the one he loved BUT the personalities were completly different. she didn't have her memories so it was like she was a different person. It showed ML grow as a person too. Like how he let himself fall in love again. I loved it SO much, more romantic. I wish there were more eps so that the romance would've had more time to develop. Like maybe16 eps? or 20? Maybe wishful thinking...

 It was a happy ending and I'm glad everyone got to have their own happiniess after everything went done. It's about time we got a ML that's willing to kill and ACTUALLY punish the evil.  The ending was sweet, wish it was a lil longer

First 28 eps:

I was worried how the romance would unfold with how the ML kept hurting her. Although it does help knowing that they didn't know each other at the start when he tried to kill her. But man, when ep 10 happened, it really changed their relationship for the better. It was that ep where FL saw the vulnerability of ML for the first time. Loved how they started to open up to each other after that. I'm surprised because the ML started out as a red flag but he's starting to become more of a green flag than 2ML is. The way they tease each other, eat together, ect. I love seeing this side of them. ML literally bleeds for her now and saved her many times. When FL calls ML "shameless cat," it feels more fond too and I like that the nickname became a cute thing to call him to tease.

FL and ML seem to have the same ideals to help out the weak and poor which I like. 2ML doesn't care that much and only for his own goals. I like that even at the end, FL always rejected 2ML. She was never swayed by him lol.

ep 29-rest:

I'm ngl but I didn't like the direction they went with FL's character and story. I get that they wanted romance angst but I personally didn't like it and it exhausted me. I felt like her intelligence went down a bar on that arc with her master; she became too impulsive. She woudn't listen to anyone.. but I get that she didn't trust ML. It was just annoying to watch tho. 

 10/10 went down to 8/10

Anyways, I love everyone's acting here. For a story like this, they needed actors who can display complex emotions. My sec drama from FL (starry love). Great actress.

 Ik that there’s a lot of flaws like the rushed ending and I’m disappointed at that but I still enjoyed+loved this

The side characters were done so much justice in their character growth and making the audience care for them. We saw their growth as characters. It's been a while since I cried for side characters. Usually some dramas don't give me that impact for a side character for us to truly like them and feel for them. So many memorable characters, even those who only appeared for 5-6 episode, I still feel them in my heart.

I love the friendship and family that this story focuses on. It shows us how important they are. That even those not by blood is stronger than family. I love ML and his cousin's brotherhood & how he didn't care about his cuz's true origins. Grandma- voice of reason to ML. I loved the brotherhood of the soldiers and ML & FL's bonds with her family.

The story was AMAZING. I always wanted to watch an arranged marriage enemies-to-lovers, and this was IT. This had everything I could wish for in a story! I loved the tension between the leads in the beginning, ML untrust of FL but then when he slowly started to trust her, it was so beautiful to watch! I like how even when they trusted each other, he still had moments where he couldn't trust her. It felt so realistic because human emotions are very complex. At the end he trusts her completly tho and I really love that. Turned into the greenest flag. The choreography was just outstanding.

The FL was such a great character. She was brilliant; her acting was so well done. She's so intelligent and also kind to the citizens. I love how cunning she could be and how involved in politics she was.

The romance was great and A LOT of romance then other dramas. Steamy kiss scenes: CHECK.

1000/10 stars. Usually I get bored of dramas by the last 10 episodes, but not this one! I liked that it didn't feel like hints of romance with the story; there was a balance.

The plot itself didn't really wow me. I was bored when the actual plot stuff was happening with the 2ML, the emperor, and all. That's why I started to mostly skim through it. I did stop at ep 7 but decided to continue because I was curious to see how it was going to end and also I love the ML actor so I really wanted to keep watching for him too. I did enjoy the comedic timings, though. It was very funny when the drama wanted it to be.

And seeing ML in love was cute although I was starting to feel bad for him when FL would keep trying to plan ways to kill him. I got annoyed with her at ep 17-25. After that she became better and more on ML's side. But man ep 17-25 she was a pain to watch so I started to forward her scenes just to get through it. Look, it's just how I felt about her and it's just a drama where we all have different opinions.

Anyways, after ep 26 or so I started to really like the drama and enjoy the plot. It became more fun once the misunderstandings were gone. I wish we expanded on the last 10 eps. I just really enjoyed those eps so much that I wish we got to enjoy it with more episodes instead of wasting on it with those eps of misunderstandings. Anyways, that last 10 eps bumped my ratin up. It was so good and hard to stop watching. the main couple started to become so cute and I enjoyed the second couple too. The first 25 eps were a 6 star rating but the rest was like a 9 or 10 stars.

This is one of the rare dramas where I liked the last half to the first half of the drama. Usually it's the opposite.

The sisterly bond was cute, as well as the brotherhood bond the MLand his gang. It was wholesome to see how well they worked together and family-like too. It was a happy ending and I love how we finally got to see an actual happy ending in a transmigration story like this. It's about time.

My interpretation of the ending drama: I felt like NH=NF where like FL, NF remembered his life with her as NH in the drama. I feel like they're both

SUCH A GREAT STORY!! I had so much fun watching this drama. I love how the study group feels more like family instead of just friends. Always have each other's backs. It's so sweet. I adore every single of of the group study members and the teacher as well. Also loved the white hair guy. Tbh, he doesn't look like hs student but oh well lol. I liked how he got himself redeemed. Also I like how sometimes the fighting scenes look like a comic scene.

I think the best part of the drama was the friendships and how everyone cared about one another. I just really loved that part. The study group felt like a found family. All the members had a lot of charisma and were very lovable characters.

The story was fun, it's about studying, fighting, and trying to change a corrupt system. It was dramatic, funny and so amazing. I mean dramatic in a good way btw. This is a webtoon adaptation which makes sense. Overall a very nice watch, I'd rewatch again. It's also a happy end!! So I'm really happy that it ended well for everyone.

I know the ML as the SML from Alchemy of Souls so it was nice to see him again. I'm ngl but I preferred this story to Weak Hero Class. I think cuz Study Group was more lighthearted and webtoon-like which I enjoyed.

I liked how realistic the drama felt. The way it was directing and everything, it made it feel so real, with no extra filters added or anything. I also enjoyed their relationship; they have soo much chemistry. I liked their relationship a bit more in the first 3 episodes. I think that's cuz they were falling in love and it was a young love. The rest of the eps was 12 years later, so their relationship got a bit more serious cuz of the drama plot stuff like misunderstandings and "ur better off without me" stuff happening. There was a love triangle in 12 years later part but it was one sided and MC didn't like him that way so it didn't bother me as much.

Anyways, I really enjoyed their relationship and the realness of how the drama felt. I really love the ML, he's such a ball of sunshine.

Overall I enjoyed this. I loveee the ML and FL's chemistry; their romance was just so good. The plot was good too, it felt thriller-like. I haven't watched the other adaptation of the kdrama version and webtoon vers so I can't really compare. But I thought this was done very well. I will say tho the last 2 eps got me losing intrest a lil bit. I think it was the way they did the revenge plot that I didn't like. But it's ok cuz the romance HIT man, it was so good

This is the best BL I've seen in a long time. The production and quality were very evident in the show. You can tell that the producers and directors cared about making this a good BL. A lot of effort went into this from all the actors. Not just that, they gave our leads a happy end that they all deserved! No one died and I'm sooo happy how it turned out.

The plot, I thought, was pretty good too. I love how ML is always there for him, his number 1 supporter. Since MC is an actor, we got to see him act in those films of his in the drama. I really enjoyed those parts; he really is a great actor.

The leads especially were the highlight of the drama for me. Their chemistry was sizzling. Their love was so passionate and strong, I couldn't stop watching them. Their intimate scenes were just so amazing. At the end of episode 5, I was like this is it, this is THE BL of the year. Nothing will top the chemistry that they have. This drama was so romantic; I love it. ML's yearning was so heart-wrenching cuz he always wanted to be near but never let himself. I'm so glad he started to insert himself in MC's life in the second life. I love that it was MC who kissed him first. I also like that their arguments ended fast because they were willing to communicate and clear up the misunderstandings. It was also nice to see how healthy their relationship was and have the bright green flag ML. That flag is greener than the grass. I loved him soo much and plus the leads were both so hot. When the ML cried, I also cried with him. His acting is just on another level.

The OST was great. I love the music so much, especially in all their romantic scenes. The acting, I thought, was also done well too; maybe a lil overreacting from the little brother but it's fine. You can tell everyone put their 100%

The animation was so pretty and the songs were catchy. It was a fun movie.
