Daily/Weekend Dramas (Watched Order)

Exception but still 50 episodes of 1 hour each. It was excellent, for sure, but bro, the villain's supposedly ridiculous soap opera laugh gave me NIGHTMARES. I saw him again as a good guy in Strong Girl Nam Soon and it legit triggered my trauma lol.

~ Weekend Drama

Ahn Jae Hyun's comeback motivated me to watch since I loved him in Blood and missed him. I was kinda scared because the plot wouldn't normally be my thing, but I loved it! It was so messy and cute. And it was quite popular (several people I know were watching (partly because of me) although the newer ones are unpopular in comparison), Netflix started to pick up weekend dramas starting from TRHC. Very traditional family drama, but very enjoyable with good villains (I loved Joon Ha) and with the old feel it's clear that many people got hit with nostalgia. Also loved the grandma's storyline, she's supposed to be annoying but I got attached to her easily (and the other characters).

Exciting storyline, entertainment industry angle, touching, loved all the characters (good, evil, in-between), great noona romance and comic relief. A perfect first try at the genre (for me!).

Dropped because I didn't find the storyline and characters or acting interesting. I did watch it all the way to the time skip but I didn't like it enough to continue.

Great premise, uneven execution. The writer changed near episode 30, the plot changed, some characters were killed off, and new ones were introduced. The story is absolutely interesting with the tragic irony and twisted fate of the sisters, but the latter half is just bad. The build-up and climax before the time skip were at least exciting and genuinely sad.

My favorite, and the Snow White symbolism paid off right up to the end. The evil queen is the protagonist here. And the prince is given a similar fate to Snow White of the original story while making his character somewhat corrupt.
