Notes on My Favorite Drama *SPOILER*
-
1. Mr. Sunshine
Korean Drama - 2018, 24 episodes
-
2. Hotel del Luna
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
-
3. Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo
Korean Drama - 2016, 20 episodes
This drama is very heart-wrenching. If you really need to cry, I think you should watch this tbh. The writers are very cruel, no one has happy ending here. I repeat, no one. No one gets their deserved ending, not even the villains. Watching this drama requires big energy. It's one of the memorable dramas that make you feel so empty and depressed inside. This is particularly why I can't re-watch it, because I'm not strong enough to jump into the roller coaster of emotions.

4. Crash Landing on You
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
-
5. While You Were Sleeping
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
I love the original idea of this drama. It's unique and not overdone, though sometimes messy. The characters really left marks on me, especially Hong Joo and Jae Chan and Woo Tak. I love that they don't put triangle love story, but rather the story of these three dreamers. It's worth rewatching and the soundtracks are very nice. "It's You" by Henry is the song that made me collect soundtracks from dramas in Spotify heheh.

6. Prison Playbook
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
-
7. I'm Not a Robot
Korean Drama - 2017, 32 episodes
Aahh the plot! The chemistry! I definitely love this one more than Are You Human, despite the leading role Seo Kang Joon. You can see how this lonely, poor man's life is changed by the warmth of the robot, and that's really touching. You can see how they fight for each other, how they wait for each other in patience. The soundtrack is A++ too.

8. Touch Your Heart
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
-
9. Extraordinary You
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
-
10. Descendants of the Sun
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
This drama is the drama that pulls me to the whirlpool of K-dramas. Thank you, DOTS. If it weren't you, my life after would be so bleak.
-
11. Hi Bye, Mama!
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
-
12. Reply 1988
Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes
-
13. Come and Hug Me
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
This melodrama is thriller. I hate thriller. At first, I watched it because I saw Jang Ki Yong. Heheh. They really have tragic story, and this one is tearjerker - but I cried way harder at happy scenes. Because they're priceless and I know it won't last long. The couple have ill-fated relationship that makes me just, cry. Luckily they're very strong and tough, and this drama really shows how true love and trust should work.

14. Pinocchio
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
Gosh, this drama causes my blood to boil. The first episodes make me constantly cry because of the cruelty of journalists and media. It's just so depressing how they're suffering! The couple is ill-fated too (not as ill-fated as Come and Hug Me) but I love how Dal Po is just so smart and reliable.
-
15. Fight for My Way
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
I remember watching this drama and feel that the world is very unfair. Watching this drama when you're reaching 19, getting into university; makes me feel so depressed. I can really relate how you're just living in this world, trying to survive, wishing you're very much more. I love the growth of the characters and their friendships; and how they decide not to give up at the end.
-
16. Guardian: The Lonely and Great God
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
The romance and the bromance!! I love how both couples have unique love story, also they can give you happy ending realistically (Realistic? Ironic choice of word since it's fantasy tbh) but seriously Goblin is enjoyable to watch. I really love the character of Grim Reaper and Sunny, and wish they're more than that.

17. Search: WWW
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
-
18. Chicago Typewriter
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
I feel guilty that I watched this drama with doubt. But it's a very nostalgic and bittersweet drama, and the suspense of what happened to them in the past is really real. I love these three main leads's characters and their friendship. Also, their rebellion back in 30s was very cool! I kinda hope Jin Oh gets happy ending. (I can't say it's sad ending for him, but not exactly happy either?)

19. Couple on the Backtrack
Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
I think this sums up how married people's love fall apart, how things can cause love fade away. Sometimes all they need is go back and remember, reconcile, and rekindle again. The second lead syndrome is real here. Kinda wish they would just stay friend, but it didn't happen! This drama made me fall in love with Jang Ki Yong, thus causing me to watch Come and Hug Me.
