The CHEMISTRY right here. The sexual tension. They are insane. I didn't expect much of this drama but I really loved it and it's also really easy to watch.

Lighthearted drama. Great chemistry between the leads, their interactions keep getting more and more natural. Loads of hot & cute scenes between them. Nice kissing scenes. Great adult relationship. They both respect each other and talk things. LGBTIQ+ inclusive.

Loved how we get to see different stages of their lives and how they grow both individually and together. Also seeing how they fall for each other in such an organic way was beautiful.
10/10 pure perfection.

The chemistry in here is INSANE. The way they tease each other is something I always miss in dramas and this one right here does it just perfectly. Not only that, the plot is interesting, the rest of the characters are lovely as well, there's good acting... it's just a gem.

I absolutely loved all the story arcs and the characters in these. I also didn't see coming some of the plot twists... I just wish there were less deaths and far more kisses LMAO. Also I'm in love with Fan Yue.

The chemistry between Luo Yunxi & BaiLu is simply outstanding. THE KISSES. Loved also the comedic parts of the drama, they did make me laugh out loud for real.
I felt it dragged a bit in some eps just because they weren't centered on the main couple, but overall I really loved it. And it's therapy after TTEOTM.

I didn't know if I should put this here because... it's a lot. I absolutely LOVED the characters, Tantai Jin's growth, the chemistry between the main CP, the world/magic, the scenery... but it hurts so much to watch that it made me hesitate.
It's also the reason it got a 9 and not a higher rating. Because I'm not a fan of angsty things unless we get A LOT of comfort after it, and here we don't.
I want to protect Tantai Jin at all costs ;___;

Funny, lighthearted, badass FL, lovable side characters, great chemistry between leads & nice steamy moments.

What a beautiful drama.
It has definitely become a comfort one for me. It was just so easy to watch, really light, no major drama, likeable characters, the sweeeeeetest main couple. And the comedic bits? Just perfection.
It's also stunning visually and it allows you to enjoy an historical setting without all the complicated political stuff.
