Done Watching Asian Drama Series (My First to Latest)

The very first drama I completed that is not in Tagalog dub, and even the first drama where translated subtitles were introduced to me HAHA. Most ppl would think of Meteor Garden, but this series was the first Taiwanese drama I ever saw.

I hope there will be a decent remake of this, a kind of remake that would give justice to the original.

Started watching it in Tagalog dub that was televised by GMA. Finally completed it a few years later in Japanese dub.

The second Taiwanese drama I saw after My Lucky Star. This is the drama where I discovered Rainie Yang and her song 'Yu Ai' (Rainy Love).

Not really amazing and I even hated Rain's character here, but I did and still do enjoy this drama for some reason LOL.

This is the very first Kdrama I almost completed in Tagalog dub (ABS-CBN). Recommended by my grandma and sister. I liked it at first watch, but after re-watching it a few years later, it felt a bit cringeworthy(??) And the toxicity of the characters T^T I like the Chinese version better.

Not the first Kdrama I saw, but this is the very first Kdrama I ever completed in its original dub.

This is actually one of the most decent action dramas in Korea, in my opinion. I haven't seen the original yet, but so far, I'm still satisfied with this version and it is still highly recommended. Actually, this is one of Lee Min Ho's best dramas alongside 'Legend of the Blue Sea' and 'Faith'. I hope to see him more on-screen with a different kind of role. I want to see if there are more of his acting skills that he could bring out.

As usual, Lee Jong Suk's dramas are all interesting. This is the first drama I saw from him, and it was also aired on GMA channel. This is also the first Kdrama I watched with my grandpa and my late uncle. We did not stop watching this until the next morning LOL.

Thanks to this, I discovered one of my favorite Korean actresses: Kim So Hyun. The OST sounds so nostalgic. The very first Kdrama on the local TV (ABS-CBN) I saw outside my hometown and away from my family---even the first Kdrama I saw when I got into university.

I didn't like the female lead for the first few episodes, but good thing I tried and gave it a chance.  Lee Min Ho kept me watching it, he's by far better here, acting-wise, than in Boys Over Flowers. Good watch.

The classic... the memorability was too high. I was just 15 the first time I watched it (with my tita and cousins), now I'm 27, and I still remember some of its scenes even after many years.

I love its OST 'Blue Wishes'.

Rewatching it in 2024 with my grandma in Tagalog dub. Now, I understand why I see a lot of feedback that Park Shin Hye was not a good actress. It's evident here. The eye contact and its exaggerated movements.... I found them cringe >< Jiwon and Krystal carried the show more than her.
(But I think PSH has improved a lot... as she should---like Bae Suzy.)

Faith Review (Korean Drama 2012) | JhovLovesYou - kisskh 

The chemistry is top-notch. Jun Ji Hyun is so good at carrying her male lead the same way she did with Kim Soo Hyun (My Love from the Star).  She's my favorite character here, very funny yet charming.

What I love about this the most is the parallel-world concept of the plot. My grandma usually had a hard time understanding the changing of timelines in a series, but she seemed to be enjoying this.

One of the Best School Series (the best for me tho)

✓ Taekwang, Eunbyeol, Soyeong = best characters
✓ Taekwang & Eunbi = best pair/ ship
✓ Kim Sohyun & Jo Soohyang = best actors

It breaks my heart how Taekwang kept being straightforward about his feelings, even though he had the idea that Eunbi liked Ian. He's such a man.

Ian and Eunbi are a good pair, too, but the situation and the plot didn't sit well with me. Is it really that easy to lose your 10-year feeling on a girl over her twin sister? That's pretty awkward.

I enjoyed a lot of Park Seo Jun's dramas, and Itaewon Class is pretty decent. But its memorability and impact are not that much for me. I expected too much after enjoying watching Fight for My Way and Hwarang T^T

The male lead is such a good actor. ^^
Meanwhile, the second male lead looked a lot like SEVENTEEN's DK HAHA.

For you to enjoy watching this drama, DON'T EXPECT TOO MUCH. Again, this is just a very simple romantic comedy drama.

Was rooting for Lee Soo Ho, but ended up rooting for Han Seo Jun. HAHA. Hwang In Youp has a lot of potential, acting-wise.

AND WHAT'S WITH CHA EUNWOO'S ACTING!? ><

Took me 3 months to finish... that's how dragging the plot was ><

One of the most beautiful and realistic dramas I've seen! ^^ Actually, it took me 3 months before I finally finished this. Not very entertaining, yes, but the content is so rich!

The best series of Yook Sungjae that I've seen so far! ^^

Also, I've never been this fond of a king and the people with him (the Head Eunuch and the 2 guards), loved them!! This is one of the few, as well, where I'm more into the other characters than the two main leads. I'm glad that this series did not fall into a romance-centered plot, it actually stuck with its main theme (most k-dramas start to be promising, then turn out to fall out of their momentum, especially when a love story is involved).

There were plot holes and a bit predictable, but it is still uniquely written. Highly recommended!

The first series of Ji Chang Wook I saw.

And this is the very first time appreciating Hwang In Youp!!!

A tearjerker >< This reminded me of 'Go Back Couple' (though I loved the former).

Lee Do Hyun did so well with his acting! Weirdly, Hwang In Youp, the one who portrayed Ja Seong, caught my attention.

Watched this because of Hwang In Youp (playing Sanha), but ended up falling for the actor playing Haejun. LOL. They look like a younger version of Lee Joon Gi and Park Bo Gum. The main female lead also did so well that I fell for her, too! She has flaws, yet adorable.
